location! we were in number 10-excellent fishing spot. Loved the hot tub. Animals roaming around and we could hear lions roar at night!! Aircon made huge difference- could Cool down tent before bedtime. Beds and pillows were super comfortable

I couldn’t use the pots and pans as the inner lining was completely damaged and not save to cook with. !!There is a microwave but no microwave safe cookware?! The towels need to be thrown away! They were old and stained. Tents need to be maintained- we had few places that didn’t close properly- we had a bat visiting us every evening flying around in the tent. The last night noisy people checked in and ruined the evening as we couldn’t even hear the lions- management should make sure they enforce strict rules on loud music and noise.

The location was good and the bush area was fantastic. The night sounds of all the surrounding animals made the experience really nice. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this place to other holiday guests.

Sometimes the neighbors could have been a bit more quiet - nothing that Africamps could have done to be honest. The cell reception is not the greatest in the area, so with all communication going via the Booking.com app, this could have been better via a call, but this is just a recommendation for the future.

I wasn't happy with the house that was allocated to us and i wanted to swap to the other one the receptionist said they can help with that but after calling the headoffice i was assisted immediately we were able to move the house that had the most gorgeous view thanks to the consultant i forgot her name though.

We have been to the Africamps in Hazyview and loved it so much that we decided to explore a few others. Needless to say that this one is exceptional. We loved the wood-fired hot tub and were able to get it to a relatively warm temperature. We were also quite pleased about the distance between the tents and the way in which this allowed for privacy.

Some of our food went off as the bar fridge in the tent was not that cold. We ended up having to improvise and used our cooler box to keep the rest of our food from spoiling.

The Camp was beautiful. I would just improve on the cleaning things, we didn't have a dish washing liquid as well as the dishwashing clothes. Since its a self catering these should be included I feel because we cook for ourselves and stuff. If you are planning a longer stay please include you own things, but otherwise I plan to visit other locations of the Africamps locations

40min trip to Kruger NP gate Loud noises & music from another unit (across lake). Have to wash dishes all the time because of few items provided (bring additional cutlery & crockery to avoid this).

The experience is great and the location in relation to Orpen Gate is convenient. The tent has everything you need for self catering as well. Bed and pillows are amazing! Will come again for a third visit! Check in was simple, easy and well organized! The gentleman who came to help with aircon was friendly and his little doggie Sockies was the highlight of our stay! Shower had warm water, good pressure! The tent was clean and welcoming! Braai was great! We wished we had a better view of the beautiful dam in-front of the Tent 2 but also the trees surrounding us don’t deserve to be destroyed for our view so it was a want not necessarily a need! We really enjoyed our second stay and the concept of the establishment is refreshing and unique!

We understand loadshedding affects everyone in SA however the heat this area experiences it’s stifling hot without air conditioning! However loadshedding isn’t something this establishment can control so as locals we understand however a generator would go a long way for guest comfort! (But we also know those are not cheap either so we get it!) Cell phone / internet signal is spotty but that is understandable with loadshedding and their location (was also good to forced to disconnect for a few days though!)

Lovely location and view. The tent is exactly as expected and comfortable. The hot tub was a game changer, as it was very hot when we were there and we used it as a plunge pool to cool off, and the water was surprisingly cool as it was situated under a tree. We loved our stay here and there are many attractions and activities in the area.

Beautiful property, close to the Kruger National Park and other activities. Kids love the glamping experience. Would definitely go back.

Outdated appliances (e.g. fridge) Self-catering units with extra cleaning service option, however, please consider adding things like a mop and a hosepipe to assist with maintaining the units.

Comfortable, had all the essentials to make a clamping experience great. The shower is good as well, water is always super hot. Beds are spacious and comfortable. The campsite is well located for exploring local attractions such as the Kruger National Park.

Fridge is a bar fridge. Limited space and the freezer is quite tinny. If intending to stay longer or in a group the fridge becames an issue and food will go off. Also ice is quite expensive if purchasing it from the reception!
