We love the pool although it wasn’t as warm this time as it was during previous trips. Was a bit of a let down but we still enjoyed it. Having the playgrounds and things for the kids is very nice.

The property as whole I cannot fault. The location in the city works great for us, it’s well kept, private, with plenty of things to do with the kids and it feels safe and secure. My only downside was the lack of cell service and poor wifi connection. Assuming it was due to location of our specific shack but it still made it very difficult to have any down time later in the evenings.

Overall this park was fantastic! Our cabin was very spacious for our big family, big couch and plenty of seats at the tables, beds were comfy, big bathroom with a great shower, full size fridge and oven in the kitchen. The park itself has everything you could ever need....you really dont need to go anywhere else. The heated pool with 2 slides was a huge hit with the kids, jumping pillow, 2 playgrounds, tennis/volleyball/basketball courts, go-kart and push bike hire, outdoor cinema, sensory room and games room plus the beach was just over the sand dunes. The location is great, right on the beach, The climbing Adventure Park and mini golf is right next door, its not far from Adelaide and Harbour Town is just down the road. You definitely get value for money. Plus the staff are lovely and very helpful.

The drain in the sink kept clogging so the water wouldnt drain and no plunger anywhere in the cabin for us to use. The staff did get someone out to look at it first thing in the morning, he thought he had fixed it but when we went to do dishes again that night water backed up again. There was also a problem with ants in the kitchen, which got into an open packet of biscuits on the bench. Luckily there was bug spray in the cupboard.

Everything! We stayed in one of the shacks & it was absolutely amazing & very comfortable.. Also was so excited to have a washing machine in there also.. The beach was just through the back gate & everywhere we went was t that far away..

There was nothing we didn’t like the only suggestion we could offer would be for the shack we stayed in would be to have an outside clothes line.. Just so we could hang some washing out while the next load was washing..

Pool and water slide, jumping pillow and playground Close to beach. With our problems with the room they were very accommodating and handled the situation accordingly,.

The air con wasn't sufficient for size of accomodation therefore on a hot day it was stifling inside and unable to sleep in bedrooms. Advertising they have a gym which has 2 exercise bikes and a couple of hand weights which was disappointing,

Such a brilliant spot for a family staycation! A luxury caravan park without the caravans. The apartment was amazing, super modern and comfy. Great air con, and kitchen facilities. Loved sitting out on the patio for dinner and then letting the kids run wild on the lawn area. The pool and slides were amazing - kids had a ball. They loved the jumping pillow too and the closeness of the beach. Highly recommend.

For our first time staying at the Retreat we had such a wonderful time! So many great facilities for families from the cabin sizes, room layouts, pool access and slides, just a few steps to the beach and in great location close to everywhere we wanted to go but most importantly it was a cosy and comfortable experience and we will definitely look forward to staying here again in the future

No complaints!

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Any questions we had the were happy to help and went out of their way. The actual resort was so lovely. It’s the perfect place for families. There is so many things to do with the kids, go-karting, tennis, swimming, trampoline bean bags. The beach is literally next door, you can see and hear the ocean. There is a restaurant which is just outside the resort, walking distance and a patisserie down the road for all your breakfast, lunch and dinner needs. Such a lovely place we will definitely be back!

There isn’t really anything I didn’t like about the property. If I had to be really picky and this is tiny. The shacks were a bit of an older looking style. But it didn’t really didn’t bother me as the place was immaculately kept. It was cleaned and has been looked after really well.

Kids loved the pool - warm and well-lit for an evening swim. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Location was terrific.

A visitor/resident not sure who, tooting the horn at 12.45 am Sunday morning - there were sounds of a party and music too late at night/morning waking us up. In the pool area suggest recycling bins nearby as some users of the facilities left rubbish behind. Suggest warm lighting in the living areas rather than cool lights - as these did not give a home feel :) Include a recycling bin at the cabin. The dishwasher was nice to have - however, there was no dishwasher detergent so could not be used.

Plenty of room for the kids to run around and explore, try different activities like swimming, jumping or going for a walk to the beach. Lots to keep the kids entertained. The location is very convienient also. I liked that we could bring friends / family in and catch up in a safe place with them, while letting the kids run free.

We were there for 6 nights and we didn't have any service / cleaning once - the place did get a bit dirty with having young kids and it raining. We ran out of toilet paper and had to ask cleaners for assistance. I thought there would have been cleaners if not everyday then at least every second day.

We didn’t have any toiletries like soaps or shampoo an conditioner , which for the price I thought would have been a normal complimentary thing , Only other issue we found was only one air con , so if u closed a bedroom door those rooms got hot an no air
