Mark and Arieta were fantastic hosts and always very helpful and obliging. The breakfast was freshly made to your liking and was very good quality and tasty. The room had everything you could have wanted and very well equipped if you wanted to cook for yourselves.The room and bathroom were spotless. Very comfortable large bed, which is always a bonus when staying away for a few days. A fan was also provided, which was very welcomed as it was very warm at night. The location was great for visiting local areas, especially as there is a bus stop outside the property and a train station literally 2 minutes away. Nice walks close by with the town just a few minutes away, so there are plenty of places to eat. Altogether, it is a great place to visit with lovely hosts that will recommend places to go. A Perfect Stay at The Steam Packet - Highly Recommended! I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Steam Packet in Littlehampton It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hosts truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast that was not only filling but also thoughtfully prepared. The variety and quality of the food were top-notch, and the atmosphere was made even better by the great music playing in the background. It was the perfect way to start our day! What really stood out was the warmth and friendliness of the hosts. They made us feel right at home, always ensuring we had everything we needed. I can't recommend The Steam Packet highly enough. We'll definitely be returning!

This is our 3rd stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast. We instantly feel rested and sleep so well in the comfortable beds. The steam packet is spotlessly clean. Everything is perfect. The room is so well equipped including a kitchen area, and sitting area with an awesome view of the estuary and river. The sea air and the breakfast make it a wonderful place to visit. We chose to have a full English breakfast and it was delicious. Mark and Arleta work tirelessly to keep everything perfect. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to come back x

The location is excellent for the train station and the local shops, 5 min walk. Room had everything you could want and it was lovely, clean and tidy.

The bed in room 1 was bad on one side of the mattress it has sunk so sleeping on the right side only, luckily I was alone! I was offered z full cooked breakfast, but only wanted cereal and toast. I was only offered museli the whole stay, no other choice of cereal offered. Was not asked if I preferred white or brown toast, it was always seeded bread used. The owners were very accommodating but over asked if everything was OK. As soon as I started on my museli my toast was brought out, it's too quick, so cold toast always!.

This was a very nice place to stay with lovely hosts. The breakfast was fabulous with eggs cooked to order and much more. The room is small but functional and very clean. There is a tiny kitchenette that is well-supplied. We highly recommend this place for a short stay. We were there for 3 nights. The Steam Packet is very convenient for the train station - just a short walk.

Nothing I had booked and stayed four nights. I would have loved an extra night to escape the London heat-wave temperatures but understood the circumstances of needing to book two in a new room.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful with advice to help me find my way around. The room was well equipped and I really liked having my own cooking facilities. There was plenty of storage space

I found the road it looked out onto a bit noisy, especially when I opened the windows. Because so much was provided by way of furniture and equipment, space was a tad tight. The shower could have been a bit more powerful.

We received a warm welcome from Mark and were shown to a large ensuite bedroom with veiws of both the river and the garden.The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The shower in the ensuite worked well. Breakfast in the morning was in the pleasant dining room overlooking the boatyard. The breakfasts we had were delicious and perfectly cooked. There are lots of great walks from the hotel and the town centre has quite a few good shops and restaurants. Overall, we had a very enjoyable weekend and would like to return sometime. Thank you.

Very helpful and friendly Landlord couple. Excellent accommodation and personal service. Loved the Pub interior, and all the flowers on the windowcils. Accommodation very well thought out with a homely feel with antique furniture. Lovely beer garden with beautiful flowers. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Best scrambled eggs for breakfast ever!

Mark and Arleta were wonderful hosts, welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was very pretty and faced towards the river, so no traffic noise. Our stay at The Steam Packet and meeting Mike and Arleta was one of the highlights of our trip to the UK.

It was no problem for us, it added to the atmosphere. However, guests looking for a quiet stay should keep in mind that they're staying in a pub and the noise from the bar can be heard in the room.
