The room was clean. 2 minutes from Insel bahnhof, and even closer to the old harbour. Middle in the city center. Breakfast wasn't bad at all.

The hotel is a mad house, low and high ceilings, some doors with 170cm height, floors 4° healing. But that's also the charm! I loved it. However, the one (only one) communal shower was small, humid/wet and without changing room. That could be improved.

The locks on the doors weren't the most user friendly. I had a room with shared bathroom facilities and the shower was on another floor which was mildly inconvenient.

Location is excellent, right in the middle of the town, breakfast was very good. When asked for a fan for the room, the staff provided one which helped tremendously for the summer heat.

Really nothing that I didn’t expect. I drove, knew parking would be difficult, but the parking garage on the island was only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

It is located really close to Insel station, rooms, toilets, bathrooms, all the bed sheets and towels provided by hotel were clean. Hosts were super friendly, they also speak English. Breakfast is nice and tasty! I totally recommend.

The location was easy to find (3 min. from the train station) early check-in possible if the room is ready. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast (much variety and staff attention on your needs)

I enjoyed my stay and have no complaints. I particularly liked the breakfast provided with lots of fresh bread to choose from.

If I had to be picky I would say a small fridge would have been handy but it wouldn't put me off staying there again.

The hotel does not look like the outside picture. It is more shabby. However the pictures of the inside are accurate. It was an old room with too few electrical outlets

Location, friendly staff, extremely well-prepared breakfast. They took covid rules seriously. They gave us a card with benefits around the island. We used the card to get a boat ride cheaper and to take the shuttle for free. There wasn't one thing that was unclean, including the shared bathroom.

No A/C. Had to bring the room key to lock the external shared toilet behind myself. The public parking lot that was recommended to us was a 30 minute walk or a 20 minute walk/shuttle bus ride away. The staircase was tight. No elevator. No plugs by the bed.

Breakfast was plentiful and all fresh, wonderful location right in the center, romantic vibe.

My Airbnb booking was cancelled, so Hotel Gasthof Inselgraben was one of a few options left. The personnel was nice, supportive and flexible regarding my needs. The breakfast was good. The room also exceeded my expectations. It was a perfect alternative available to my cancelled booking in Airbnb.
