Jackie and her husband are amazing! Jackie greeted us in the parking lot upon our arrival and was so incredibly sweet and friendly throughout our entire stay. I can't say enough nice things about her and the hotel! We have been on the road for a month, driving around America for our honeymoon, and my husband and I loved our stay at the Shiny Motel the best. Great location if you are visiting Olympic National Park like we were. Jackie was even kind enough to give us a gift as we were leaving because we had just gotten married. Simply the sweetest, I wish all hotel owners were as thoughtful as she!

I wish we had booked more nights at Shiny Motel!

This motel is run by a family. Jackie and her husband may be the most friendly host I have ever seen. Jackie even greeted to us outside when we arrived and left. She proactively turned on the heater for us, and brought a ln additional towel to us. We will give her a 5 star. The building is old but the interior has been renovated. Nice color, great light, the water is very hot, and the bed is very comfortable. Considering the price, I think they offered much more than my expectation. Jackie also gave us some recommendation about the amount of time that we need at Hoh rain forest. She also introduced to us the works largest spruce tree off the Lake Quinault. That’s very cool.

This little gem of a place is quite amazing. Not only were the owners very kind and friendly, the rooms were amazing. This is by far the cleanest motel room I have ever been in. The beds are amazing. Those sheets are high quality and so soft! The pillow were perfect. Don’t let the 2 star rating fool you. This is as good as several Hotels I’ve stayed in the past.some really nice high class touches in the rooms. I will definitely stay here again. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

It is a great location to rest your tired body after finishing your schedule at Ruby Beach. Thanks to the kind owner, I had a pleasant night. It was very warm and cozy. There were two TVs in each room, so the kids didn't fight, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. I don't know when it will be, but if I come to Seattle again, I will definitely spend a day there. In particular, the consideration of the Korean owner touched my whole family. We will remember her for a long time. It's the best. And the beds are especially comfortable^^

We could tell the owners care very much about their motel. They were there to greet us and take care of our needs, all with an amazing, friendly attitude. The room was well worth the price and was a great place to stop on a road trip.

The room was very clean, but it was a little dated, and the fragrance the cleaners used was a little strong. If you are sensitive to smells, consider making a special request. It was not bad, just strong.

Going to the Shiny Motel is like going home :). The owners are incredibly friendly and caring. Everything is exactly as described plus you get that homey feeling like the cute little garden, complimentary water, coffee, and owners that are going the extra mile to accommodate you. It’s a simple motel, but has all you need and is sparkling clean! I absolutely recommend it and will definitely stop here when in the area!

I've said it before, and I'll continue to say it: this is, hands down, the best hotel in town to stay at! The owners are amazing and wonderful people! The rooms are always nice, clean, comfy and cozy! You feel welcomed from the moment you check in until you check out! I've stayed at multiple places in the area and continue to return to the Shiny Motel as often as I can! Trust me, you won't regret your stay!

I can NOT stress this enough: there is nothing to not like about this place! It is fantastic! And they have multiple options available if you're traveling alone or with friends and family!

Rarely do the owners of a place greet you when you arrive late at night and see you off when you go early in the morning! The couple who runs this motel was wonderful! So friendly and interested in our family. They bought the place a couple of years ago and are renovating it. Our room hadn’t yet been renovated but it was very clean and had a kitchen inside. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Fully equipped for any length of time- a larger sized mini fridge & freezer, microwave, coffee pot, coffee, and water (from the lobby)! The bed was really comfortable and I slept like a champ! Very clean and comfortable! The owners are BEYOND exceptional - truly warm, welcoming, hospitable and committed to the comfort of my stay! It was a wonderful experience and I absolutely recommend this little gem! There is a nice little area to gather or sit alone with your thoughts away from the rooms if you smoke or just want to sit outside. It would make a great place for reunions or family gatherings to stay. They are in the process of remodeling too! It had everything I needed and you just can’t beat the price! Close to many great food options and not far from the beaches. Very quiet too, everyone was very respectful.

The motel sits off of a road that produces a good amount of road noise - this was the only “downside” but it surprisingly didn’t bother me much - I’m including it for fyi.

Have been to this motel a few times and it’s one of my favourite. Rooms are super clean and have everything you need. The new owners are very friendly and committed to make you feel welcome. About the room: the mattress was incredibly comfortable, everything was spotless, there was a new microwave, a big minifridge, and plenty of soft towels. Can’t wait to be back in summer use the cute outdoor area!

The room wasn’t the most spacious, but had everything you need. Also, depending were you are sleeping you might hear cars on the 101 at night. All in all, these are very minor things and I absolutely recommend this motel!!!
