Beautiful murals. Close to everything. Walking distance to the grocery store and coffee stand. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Staff was very friendly. The dogs absolutely loved it here. Access to a bench out front and a sunny deck out back. They let us cook the crabs we caught inside. When we realized that the sun was going down we had plenty of time to get to the viewing tower to watch the sunset. Flexible checkout times. The owner is super sweet and made sure we had a great time.

Our family went to Westport for a fishing trip. The location was perfect a few minutes and you were at the fishing dock. We had room number 11 and the room had 4 beds and was mpre than comfortable for us. We had our own microwave, refrigerator which made it nice so we could warm up our food. The room came stocked with plates, silverware, cups and it even had a coffee pot. The manager was real nice and accommodating. Will defiinitely stay here again when we are in Westport

There was nothing I didnt like about staying at Ocean Avenue Inn.

I liked the location and the cottage home was just right for the amount of people that stayed in. Staff was very friendly and kind, very helpful as well.

I think the communication could be better when you need to hear back from them. And so we thought we lost our cottage room that day which really got me very worried, even though it was already reserved. But after I left several messages to re-confirm to be there, it took about an hour for someone to get back to you. Because we got there much later at the hotel stay, way after actual check in time coming from afar.

I went to bed early cuz I had to get up really early for a charter, I slept well! Very little noise outside and there were people outside. Room was clean! Bed was comfortable. No complaints about the room. The customer service was great and friendly! The older gal was very nice!!!

The office was dirty and unorganized, gave me an uneasy feeling. Dirty bird cage with a parrot sitting on top that bites, owners did warn me. Dirty fish tank. Food on the carpet. I didn’t know if I walked into the office or into her apartment/living room.

Everyone was so nice! My son was givin a couple birthday gifts from the check in gal which was so nice of her to do to go out of her way to get him gifts! She even dried our cloths for us so we wouldn’t have wet jackets! Just so nice and caring! I will for sure be booking g again with her next year! My family goes razor clam digging every year so she is going to be my go to! Thank you for the wonderful stay and the hospitality!!

Location easy to find! Manager exceptionally friendly, she really made it for the Inn. Was able to check in 2 hours early which was helpful. Kimberlie also gave us tips for restaurants and places to see. She was so kind and helpful!

The bathroom fan was out of order and the carpet was stained.

Location was great and price was good value. Beds were good. Went for a walk in a nearby park- lovely views of the ocean and pelicans.

Wifi wasn't working. Cell reception also spotty, but that may have been our plan or associated with whatever the problem with the wifi was. Came in later than originally planned, so had to call for the key to be left for us.

We really enjoyed the staff! If we had a problem they had a answer and solved the problem. Very courteous and friendly. My grandchildren really enjoyed going to the office and asking questions. With wide eyes they would listen to the answers. And I think that the staff loved the looks on their faces, because of the smiles on the staffs face. We are in the early stages of planning our trip next year, and they are definitely in our plans! Thank you Ocean Avenue Inn!!!!

A longer stay, and a later check out time. everybody wanted to stay and talk to the staff and say good-bye.

Just needed a great value to stay for a over night get up and go deep sea fishing. Great value for a quick overnight stay. This our second time staying there and plan on next year also. Thanks

for a quick few hours to stay and get up at 3:00 in the morning to go fishing I would say the pillows were to soft for me but made them do. that sums it up.

The location was perfect for our needs being walking distance to the grocery store. Also, the coffee pot was a normal size. The bedding was clean. There was a nice outside area for BBQing and although we didn't have our Dog, this place was pet friendly. We stayed in #1 and it had one and a half baths. Not necessary but kind of handy. Night/neighborhood was quiet even with the windows open.

The carpet was pretty nasty, my feet were black after a short time walking on it. One of the bath towels was heavily stained as though it may have been used for cleaning said carpet. The coffee cups in the cupboard were not washed but this could have been the previous tenants (you'd think someone would check this though). The Futon couch was too uncomfortable to even sit on for tv watching but they usually are. There was no blow dryer, shampoo or conditioner available but plenty of hand soap. We were traveling by Motorcycle and assumed we wouldn't have to pack these items.
