All I wanted was a clean, inexpensive, and quiet place to stay. The sign says they are under new management, and I have to say, the room was well equipped, plenty of towels, very clean and everything worked. Westport is a small fishing town, so one doesn't expect such a nice motel among the many motels in the town which is barely livable. I was very impressed how everything seemed new. Price was right too. I also like their system of using combo locks on their doors. If you are coming in late, they text you the combination to open the door. It's less work for them, and less hassle for you when you come in late.

I wished they provided an extra blanket. They give you sheets and a slightly padded bedspread. They are times I want my room a bit colder in temperature, but want an extra blanket to keep me warm. This seems to be a problem at many motels. Must be a problem with theft. I guess I'll need to keep a blanket in the car to use in motels.

I loved the convenience to restaurants and groceries. I loved the quaint room. The bed was very comfortable. The mini kitchen was perfect! The clam cleaning area in the gazebo was great! All we needed! Thank you for a wonderful stay. ❤️

I wish the room had an oven. And a casserole or baking dish would have been nice. Also, maybe a small broom and dust pan. We tracked in a bit of sand and dirt off of our shoes. I did find one over by the wood pile and used that to sweep up.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was spotlessly clean! We had everything we needed to cook our own food. Plenty of outlets for charging etc. the bed was amazing. It was quiet, and outside we could hear the ocean down the street. Would love to be there in the spring and summer to take advantage of the fire pit, and bbq area and sit by the little creek in the yard.

I can't think of anything I didn't like about this motel. I have zero complaints.

The bedroom, little kitchen and bathroom were all very clean. The furnishings were in excellent shape, the bed and linens were of fine quality and very comfortable. The bathroom fixtures were new and in fine condition. There was a full size refrigerator, which I appreciated. In all the space reminded me of a newer fancier hotel. I liked parking right outside our room.

A pleasant place with large, tidy rooms with comfortable beds/good linen, quiet A/C, ample receptacles for this modern recharging world, good blinds to block outside light, parking right out your door, an outdoor gazebo with BBQing facilities, a clean bathroom with great water pressure, and an easy walk to a local watering hole with a decent, basic menu. Otherwise, the "downtown" is about 3/4 of a mile away so you drive, or you walk. The reception desk lady was helpful, friendly, funny, offered up choices for dining and entertainment, and made us all laugh and feel welcome.

A basic, tinny-speakered TV with a dizzying array of buttons to press on the remote, that's it, that's all. Who needs the tele when on holidays anyway?!

Ok. I REALLY just loved the check in clerk. I think he is what made our stay absolutely unforgettable. He had started a fire in the fire pit before we had arrived. I was told by other patrons that he did it for their benefit. The first thing I smelled was the lovely fire going while we were checking in. After a long day on my feet I was excited like a little kid to go and sit by the fire which was in a covered gazebo-like structure. We packed our gear in our room and went to the fire within 10 minutes. Then sat talking with the check in clerk and various patrons that came, sat, conversed, and left, and came and left. We got up feeling like wet noodles. It was amazing! The bed was absolutely the #1 most comfortable bed in Westport. We have stayed in various hotels and cabins there a LOT. We will definitely stay with these people again! The room was quaint and had a kitchenette and dining table which I love. But it was the people that made it super awsome, and that fire going....

Not applicable. The price was excellent. The check in was immediate. The clerk told us to help ourselves to the food. Honestly, the clerk was really the gem in the crown. I have nothing at all bad to report about this place. Oh, wait! There was a sanitizer deodorant smell when we arrived in the room that I did not like. But it aired out quickly. I guess that would be a complaint.

This was our 2nd time staying here, and they've been consistent in having our room clean (spotless), well stocked, and ready when we arrive. Staff is friendly and accommodating. And this time they are starting to get ready for season change (hopefully soon) with picnic tables out, and people were using the BBQ.

Still can't think of anything not to like here

All the employees we met were friendly and helpful, the beds were super comfortable, and there was a small mini fridge in our room with a separate freezer that froze our blue ice blocks rock solid, unlike most mini fridges with a small compartment within the refrigerator. They provided a pedestal fan which kept the room cool and provided white noise. Mariner's Cove is a great option if you're looking for a clean, comfy, reasonably priced, pet-friendly place to stay.

The door to the bathroom would stick and hardly close so that every time someone got up at night, it made a loud noise waking everyone. If you're sensitive to light, be sure to bring a good sleep mask because the window coverings didn't block out the light and the bathroom window didn't have any covering at all. If you're looking for a sleep mask that actually blocks out ALL light, I recently bought this one and highly recommend it. I was able to check in before 4 pm The room was very neat and clean There were very few rooms so less noise Large bathroom with all the amenities such as: (A).tooth brush& paste (B).Q tips (C).plenty of towels,hand towels,wash rags And they smelled so very fresh and clean. (D) great property space.

Nosey neighbors,looking out the window everytime we came and went.WEIRD!!! Staring at us.

In town for work. The hotel was fine. The room was clean, and the mattress was comfortable. The water was nice and hot, and the towels were soft. The entire complex was very quiet. It's a short walk to a nice local pub that had good food and entertainment. The motel management staff was friendly and helpful.

The location isn't very walkable to Westport activities. Only one restaurant (bar) nearby.
