We weren't aware that there was breakfast! Also, it wasn't clear as far as when check out time was. I looked in the room for this information, but couldn't find it. I went to church (3 min away) and my husband stayed until 11am, not knowing check out was noon. Otherwise, a good stay!

As mentioned, maybe a folder listing amenities, like breakfast. We didn't know, so missed out on this!

Room was clean

I had booked this room for my son being that he was in Pendelton for a Music Festival the first Hotel gave his room away so i booked this room for him at Red Lion but when he went to check in since it was under my account, they made him pay for his room although i had already paid! They even charged a no-show fee even though he obviously checked in and was there. After trying numerous times to contact the hotel no one would answer, and they were very unhelpful

While other reviewers have panned this hotel, I do not believe it is "marginal." Yes, it is a little dated, but in no means is it dirty or musty. We have a few non-negotiable requirements: Clean, comfortable beds; Clean showers/bathroom; Clean carpet that you can feel comfortable walking on with bare feet. The room was very clean. There were no strange smells. The carpet was very clean, as was the bathroom. There wasn't any mold or mildew in the bathroom. We gave this property a "9" because there were a few minor things (easy fixes). One of the three vanity lights was burned out, the easy chair in the room could be freshened up with a wipe of upholstery cleaner, but it wasn't filthy or gross. The sheets were delightful, soft and clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept like hibernating bears. Having a balcony to look out from was really nice also. The big drape that covered the sliding doors was, indeed, dated; but that's not important, as it was an excellent black out drape that made the room dark-dark-dark. Hotels can go broke trying to keep up with the fashion. I would rather have a comfortable, clean, functioning room than something contemporary and not as comfortable. We would definitely stay at this hotel if we ever pass through Pendleton again. I would also like to mention the front desk area of this hotel, it is immaculate! The clerks were pleasant, friendly and helpful. There are giant windows where you can see the beautiful rolling hills behind the hotel. There are lots of places to walk dogs, which makes things easy. It is a little off the beaten path, but truly worth it if you want a quiet place to stay.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We would have liked to have had the bar/restaurant open; hopefully they'll get that up and running again in the future.

The front desk wend above and beyond. They were very accommodating and friendly. I often travel wailing with my son and they made me feel safe and comfortable. That is not always the case

It is a bit outdated but it was clean

Everything was clean. Fast and easy check in and out.The staff was friendly, the TV worked. Easy location to get to. There was coffee in the morning.

Check in time isn't until 4.The restaurant and lounge weren't open. That would have been nice to have breakfast at the hotel instead of going somewhere else.

The beds were very comfortable. The view was outstanding. The room was clean and well-maintained. Not offering an open restaurant or even a voucher for breakfast was a negative but I would gladly stay there again. The facility at one time must have been the nicest hotel in the area.

No breakfast of any kind. Not even a coffee maker in the room.

I felt comfortable when we walked. If they just had a coffee pot, it would have been even better.

The only thing not good was no breakfast. And needed a little dusting on top of furniture. By 10 all the coffee was gone front downstairs. The only thing the curtains were old fashioned.

Large room. Clean and working sinks (2), toilet and microwave. Towels and sheets spotless. Outdated furnishings, but again, lots of room. This could be an excellent property, but seemed deserted when we stayed. Saw not one other person in our wing when we stayed. I'll go back, though!

Tub needed re-calking, carpet was worn, mirror in bath needed frame repaired. Very, very deserted feeling.

large hotel, clean spacious room. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Easy on/off to freeway and short drive to downtown restaurants. We will definitely stay there again.

sink drain was slow. Coffee, but no breakfast offered. Hotel restaurant was closed.

We were traveling with our dog. The pet wing rooms have sliding glass doors opening onto a dog lawn. No need to walk the dog through the halls for toileting.

Parking lot entrances not adequately marked for guests arriving after dark.
