Room was clean, large in size, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly

When we checked out the following morning, they were having an event in their banquet room, the people using it were very rude, and utilizing handicapped parking to unload their vans. Our vehicle was blocked in and it was beyond frustrating to be confronted and yelled at while we loaded our vehicle and tried to check out. This was also 2 hrs prior to check out.

Great location to be for peace and quiet. It's a good spot for anyone interested checking out the rivers and being surrounded with the locals.

Although the place is in a good location for anyone interested checking out local lakes and rivers along fields, the place can be too quiet for those not familiar with the rural side. And especially if coming out from the city. Overall not bad choice pic to stay

They told me they would accept a company that worked with them to refund my booking .com reservation, and replace it with a new reservation, stated it would cost nore , and I agreed, but am concerned as I have nothing in my banking showing any credit for the booking. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The A/C worked well, as did the wifi. The shower had good water pressure. Linens were soft, coffee/tea service, and toiletries as expected. Adequate outlets available to charge electronics. The hotel was quiet and we slept very well. The staff was pleasant and helpful. There was a lovely, inviting swimming pool, though we did not try it. The breakfast was as expected for a Quality Inn. However, we especially appreciated the hard boiled eggs in their shell, and not the often provided rubber eggs. We ate a delicious dinner at the restaurant called "Delish" in Hermiston, about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. Access to the freeway was very good, without the noise of a freeway. Over the years, we have stayed at a number of Quality Inns that could be described similarly to this one. Unfortunately, we recently stayed at another Quality Inn that was an utter failure and disappointment, so we were a bit reluctant to stay again at Quality Inn. But we were pleasantly surprised, and very pleased with this stay, and will stay here again if we're in the area.

We haul a lot of stuff with us into our hotel room at night when we are on a road trip, and this trip was no different. It would have been great to have an elevator, but we managed without problem, and can actually say that the exercise was good for us after a day on the road!

Staff at check-in, housekeeping and breakfast room were friendly and helpful. The hotel could use some updates and aesthetic touch-up but works fine for a simple overnight stay.

Internet was weak at our room, far end of the hall.

Breakfast was nothing special but okay.

Off the road just enough to be quiet and close to the highway. One unexpected thing that added to our enjoyment with our stay was a gathering of dogs and their owners. I love dog people, so nice and friendly. Nice breakfast.

Access to the room from the lobby was a bit of a maze. The wildfire that nearly had us evacuated.

Left too early for breakfast. I have back problems, mattress to hard for me - not your fault.

I usually sleep in a recliner. Everything else was wonderful.

This accommodation is a little out-of-the-way and not in Umatilla as I had expected. That said, the room was spacious, the staff competent, the location - a rural setting near the Columbia river and adjacent to a golf course - unexpectedly peaceful.

No complaints.
