The place is cozy and charming, with green grounds, free parking, and a small number of rooms. We booked a table for dinner, and all the food was absolutely delicious, with very reasonable prices in the restaurant.

From the photos and description, I expected to spend the night in a castle, but in reality, it’s a hotel located in a castle building, and the rooms are just standard hotel rooms. I also imagined the restaurant would be in an elegantly decorated dining room inside the castle, but instead, the tables were set outside. It was pretty, but different from my expectations and previous experiences in France. The price is quite high, and breakfast is not included in this price.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, especially the pear tart. The staff was kind and accommodating.

The only negative I would have is the dinner. While a good value, we chose to eat elsewhere with local friends. While the salmon was prepared well, the risotto was gooey and the dessert was not up to par. We will definitely return and recommend hotel and hopefully dinner will have improved. The grounds are soothing and watching the owls was an added pleasure as we sipped our spritz on the patio at sunset. The breakfast atrium is beautiful.

We liked everything about Château de la Rozelle. It is a beautiful property and exceeded our expectations. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The beds were so comfortable. The forested garden was lovely. Conveniently located just 15 minutes away from Blois and close to Château de Chambord

We didn't dislike anything! The breakfast was not fantastic, but adequate and reasonably priced for what was offered. The shower was a bit awkward and keeping the bathroom floor dry was a challenge. But I'm nitpicking.

We loved the property. Our bedroom was small as in the attic, but had everything we needed. Be aware there may not be a stand up shower in all rooms as we had a shower head on bath, but no room to stand. We were happy as we love baths. We loved the breakfast room orangery and the breakfast itself was fab.

It would have been lovely to have some communal rooms to see and relax in, apart from our bedroom. We feel we didn’t see enough of the inside of the chateau, but understand it is also a home.

Breakfast catered to all tastes - charcuterie, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit, jams, cake, mueslis and granolas, croissants. All you could possibly want. The staff went out of their way to help, for instance, when I had stained some clothing they washed it for me. Loads of cycle tracks nearby so you don't have to ride on roads with car traffic, and the hotel will rent out bicycles.

Beautiful hotel. The rooms were great. Electric car charger easy to use. Loved the place.

Dinner wasn't available the two nights we stayed - nearest restaurant was 11km away! Village was shut! Nothing within walking distance. Depending what you want but for us walking to restaurants is most important

It was easy to drive to. The check in was fast, polite and friendly. The room was very nice. The dinner outside in the evening was exceptional for the starter, main and dessert. The prices for the room and meals was quite reasonable. I would return if in the area.

Nice hotel for a very good place to stay when visiting the region. Staff is great and everything is very clean. Food is excellent and so is the breakfast with local products

Room was very comfortable . Breakfast - good , a bit expensive for whaat it was. Dinner - excellent , lovely food , great restaurant service .
