Very convenient location, close to attractions and cafes. Rooms were exceptionally clean and well presented. Very comfortable rooms with very decent amenities. Great bistro and reception area. Staff were exceptional and very welcoming.

Only minor issue was that when using the shower the shower head was quite low on the wall. It was ok to have a shower, but anyone who is under about 5’8” would struggle to stay wet when showering. The lights along the balconies that remain on all through the night, can make it difficult to get proper sleep. Motion detection lighting would be better. The bad on wheels was bit difficult to be comfortable when sitting up in bed to read or watch tv. No fixed bed head. The bed would slide forwards and need to be pushed back against the wall.

It’s a decent size motel convenient to the town’s main street where there are cafes and quite cool shops! It has a pool and a reasonable outlook. Go to the charity 2nd hand bookshop at the other end of the main drag, it’s HUGE!

Well in the end it was nothing - they were lovely about it! but they were super busy the first night and we got a rather dark room in the corner - maybe Rm 22? - and we asked to change for the second and third nights and they were very nice and let us change for no extra charge xx and the other room was brighter and a little bigger - THANK YOU xx

We recently stayed at the Bucketts Way Motel and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the person at the reception made us feel so welcome. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we forgot to ask his name, but his warm hospitality really stood out and made our stay even better. The room was clean, cozy, and just what we needed. Highly recommend this place

The room, though simple, was spotless and super-comfy. Lovely clean sheets and towels, snug mattress. Plenty of water pressure in the shower. Good air-con: quiet and worked a treat. It also I particularly liked it for the attention to the little things. For example, 1) Power points in arm's reach right next to the bed, so no scrambling around unplugging things in order to recharge your phone. 2) Not too many blankets on the bed in summer; you don't spend all night kicking them off, resulting in an untidy pile on the floor. 3) The TV was modern with perfect resolution and plenty of channels on offer. 4) The milk for breakfast is fresh and comes in bottles. The reception and lounge/dining room is a fantastic throwback to motels of the '60s and '70s. The 1961 mural is deservedly famous and is even a stop on the Gloucester town tourist trail. There is also a pool. The motel is also conveniently located. And the owners have huskies. Win-win in my book

No complaints whatsoever.

Nice clean room with a larger than usual fridge, kettle and microwave, fresh milk offered upon check in. Very short walk to shops/cafes/pub, plenty of parking and a petrol station across the road, the pool looked very inviting but lost out to the pub across the road :)

A couple of USB charge points would have been nice, usually you can charge from the Tv but I couldn't see any there either, not a deal breaker, I would happily stay again.

The motel was close to parks, shops and bowling club. Staff were very friendly and it was no trouble to help you in any way they could. We will definitely stay there again when we are in Gloucester.

The only problem we had was there was no hot water at night, just Luke warm. The owners said a plumber was coming to fix it this week.

I had an excellent stay - the owner when checking in was super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and in great condition and the bed was very comfortable. The little details matter like having cloths available to clean motorcycle seats and helmets was very considerate. I look forward to staying here again and highly recommend it!

The facilities in the room were really nice with tea & coffee and plates and cutlery. This was nice as we could enjoy some takeaway in the room after a big day out. The beds were comfy with extra pillows and blankets available (air con was working well, we just like blankets).

Everything was lovely with no problems.

Great property very close to town and all the pubs, clubs and coffee shops. Our room was very comfortable. Friendly hotel staff. Beautiful view. We have already booked for another stay in December to explore more of beautiful Gloucester and all it has to offer.

No hot water for a few hours in the morning. This was all rectified and managed to have a beautiful hot shower. Love the water pressure in the shower.
