We chose this property because we wanted to spend time at the Pompeii ruins and to be able to travel around the area without needing a car. The apartment is a short walk from the circumvesuviana train station (there are 3 different Pompeii stations) which allowed easy access from Naples and to places like Sorrento, Amalfi (by boat) and Herculaneum. It was also close to one of the entrances to the ruins which is not the main tourist one, allowing us to miss the crowds and queues (and to get there before the Naples day trippers). The apartment was spacious and cleaned every two days. The kitchen was well equipped but there were so many local restaurants with well-priced menus and wine, and a mostly a local clientel. There was a nearby food shop with excellent choice and helpful staff (with great recommendations). It was easy to book trips but also to travel independently. We went to the Naples Opera House (Madam Butterfly) one night and the apartment proprietor's son, collected us afterwards. Altogether a great experience with perfect service.

This is Italy - and never quiet, so don't expect the nights to be silent :-) Expect church bells, cockrels crowing and loud street conversations...........all part of the joy of city life.

The property was very warm and very comfortable.

Nothing to list about the unlike list . It’s been one of the places where I stayed and enjoyed every single minute of stay . Garage to park the car was secure , lift from the garage to the front of door step , air con in the house , coffee machine , bread toaster , minibar fridge , microwave, 2 Smart TVs Incredibly comfortable mattress in the master king size bed and in the baby sofa bed . Amazing walk in shower with rainfall shower Ooohhhh I would go back again if possible . The location is walking distance to the main square and to 2 Bars where you can enjoy an amazing Italian breakfast. Well done to the whole team !!!!!!

Friendly reception! Chiara helped me with the coordination of transportation for my activities in mind. She even let me store my bags after my check out at the reception. If I had any question or request, Chiara would always answer promptly. Definitely among the friendliest staff I’ve encountered. The room was meticulously clean and spacious. Clear instructions for check in & check out and safe grounds.

An Excellent Stay at Palazzo Archeo! I had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo Archeo for two nights while visiting the ancient ruins of Pompeii, and I can’t recommend it enough! The accommodation was fantastic—spacious, fully independent, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The added bonus of an underground car park gave me peace of mind knowing my vehicle was secure during my trip. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the entrance of the Pompeii ruins, making it super convenient for anyone planning to explore the site. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready with helpful advice to make my visit even more enjoyable. Their hospitality truly stood out! If you’re looking for a convenient, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in Pompeii, Palazzo Archeo is definitely the place to be. I’ll be back next time for sure!

We were delighted with this apartment, which exceeded our expectations. We were a little delayed, but Chiera kindly waited for us. The room bed was comfortable, shower excellent, and nice little kitchenette. Spotlessly clean and towels and bed linen changed on the second day. Parking in the building was very convenient.

Not very important. Freezer section of fridge was tiny and frozen up. Garage is difficulty to negotiate with a very steep slope.

We were shuttled to & from the airport which was so convenient, especially since we did not rent a car. Caterina & Chiara were both amazing hosts. Chiara was responsive to any questions that I had during our 2 week trip. Whenever I would text her, she was always there to help. The housekeeping was wonderful - I wish I would have gotten her name, but she even went as far as cleaning any dirty dishes we left out & folding our clothes in the room. Lastly, when we arrived to our room, Caterina & Chiara left a surprise for us: candles, rose petals, & a bottle of wine! This stay made our honeymoon even better than we could have imagined. Thank you all so much for being the perfect hosts!! We will miss being there!

Good location for easy access to Pompeii town, main routes out via car; train station 3 minutes walk also. Well appointed apartments with small but adequate kitchen, lounge and in this case two bedrooms. Two balconies, one overlooking Mt Versuvius. Good quality air conditioning, ideal in September as the weekly average was well in the 30's.

Parking was a little tight and the electric gate fob was temperamental. As the property is off a local town road it would be good to have some signage on the main road.

The place was sparkling clean, I felt safe, and there's on-site parking. Staff brought by extra towels for the third day we were there, and the washing machine was great. The drying rack was large, and when we moved it onto the balcony in the sun and breeze, everything dried pretty quickly in spite of the humidity. When there was a power outage and the water heater needed attention, someone came up very quickly to fix it.

The beds were very hard. It was ok the first night, but by the third night, even my ribs hurt by morning.

Large, spotlessly clean apartment with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous shower room. The kitchen area was perfect and had everything we could have needed. It was great to have a view of Mount Vesuvius from the balcony! The location is great as it's quiet, but easily walkable to lots of bars and restaurants, and of course the historical ruins. Our host was very helpful and offered to look after our cases whilst we went off exploring after having to check-out.

A wardrobe or some drawers for clothes storage would have made the apartment absolutely perfect.

Very nice appartment with balcony. Kitchen has all we needed, and also we just asked if there are wine glasses and they said No at the moment, however they added it to the kitchen for us. That was so nice surprise. All communication was smooth and prompt via whatsapp. Appartment was nice and clean, just 5 minutes by walking to the center of Pompei. If you want to visit the Vesuvio, be aware that you need to book your tickets in advance, ideally online, because there is booking system. You can take the bus from the bus stop in front of the Amfiteater.
