Nice paradise! Perfect beach vacation location. Also great for snorkelling.

There is actually no complaints but few things to bare in mind. There was no WiFi in the rooms but we were informed by the hotel before we arrived and we bought dtac e-sims and these worked perfectly. Hotel also have snorkelling kits available but I recommend to bring your own to fully enjoy the experience with quality equipment.

Great location on a remote beach and very friendly and helpful staff. Hornbills and other birds all over the place. Hundreds of tiny crabs. If you want even more seclusion you can walk or swim to the little wild beach on the right (on map). There are sit-on-tops kayaks which you can use for free and paddle around island, to the main beach, to a couple of wild beaches or to small isles nearby. If you are tired of local restaurant or need to buy some basic stuff (very basic - there are no 7 Eleven and such on island) you can walk to the main beach through jungle. It's half an hour picturesque hike where you can meet giant lizards. Could be very slippery in rain season. Also main beach is pretty, with white sand. Or you can walk to the SW cape of the island from resort.

The food and water was quite expensive compared to cafes on the main beach (and especially in Trang or Bangkok) and not that tasty. Breakfast is rather basic for many Europeans though you can find fried rice or something like that. Beaches on Koh Ngai are very polluted, especially uninhabited ones. Of course plastic trash is a worldwide problem, but some cleaning could be organised. I think guests will volunteer to clean the Paradise beach if cleaning would be organised by staff.

Beautiful location in an isolated spot on the island. Some may not like this but we loved it. Nice clean rooms. Nice friendly staff.

The food was average with limited choice, so found ourselves getting a bit bored of the choices. It was also expensive compared to a lot of other places we stayed.. No kids menu either, so very limited choices for her which we found very strange, so we had to order adult portions for our 2 year old, so everything ended up being quite a bit more expensive than our other stays where kids ate for free or at a fraction of the price. Spaghetti and tomato sauce was 320 baht as an example. Not the resorts fault but the day trippers come on mass and ruin the isolated feel, but they only stay a few hours. This was are only main downside for this property. With that said, we would stay here again.

Very nice resort on the quiet side of the island. There is no other resort and it’s less busy than on the other side. The little cottages are cozy and well maintained. Bathroom is a bit dated but works fine. Room has a fridge and AC. Breakfast offers a great variety with lots of fresh fruit, warm and cold beverages and western and Asian food. We liked it a lot and the view is great. Resort offers towels for the pool and beach. Good restaurant, food is tasty. Staff is attentive and friendly.

Be aware that restaurant prices are expensive for Thai standards and you can’t pay with card. So take enough cash with you. Room has only a bit storage which is not enough.

I am a hotelier who owns 30 rooms and must say Ive been to many islands but this one is the best if you want to be quiet and just relax. Nature nature nature. Clean rooms, gr8 breakfast and fabulous staff. Every bungalow has what you need but dont expect something fancy this is a place where you come and walk barefoot all day long. FOOD OMG THE RESTAURANT’S curry is fabulous!!! Good clean swimming pool. True paradise. As close as it can get to my favorite Maldives

Tourists visiting the island daily as this is paradise, you need to keep that in mind. But they do behave well. No WIFI in rooms - and our local network did not work on this secluded part of the Koh Ngai island!

The place really is like paradise, the beach is so beautiful, and calm and quiet, and the water is crystal clear. Big and very nice coral reef just off the beach, a lot of fish. Surrounded by beautiful nature. The service at the restaurant/bar was great, they always got our orders right and we didn’t have to wait. Good service over all.

The food at the restaurant was not so great. Breakfast was quite good. Too few sunbeds on the beach. The beds were hard. The bathroom was quite simple, but it is a 3 Star hotel, nothing fancy, and that’s ok. No Wi-Fi at the bungalows, but near the reception area it is working.

Nice calm place, it’s only one this hotel there, 33 cottages, not much people. Very nice beach. Good breakfast. You can walk to other two wild beaches and watch tower - very spectacular. Out house was on the backside, more privacy. Clean, spacious enough. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Very good massage at the sea food restaurant- recommended. Kayak is for free.

Well, nothing critical, but some points to improve. Weak or no WiFi from hotel. Only 4 sun umbrellas and 10 beach beds. By far not enough. Personnel is not much supportive, need to ask them 5 times to bring kayak to the sea and had to help myself. Restaurant has many dishes but not tasty. Same with cocktails. The beach is great but after 14.00 low tide - one can not swim. For the same reason you can not get to the hotel after 14.00 on the boat, we had to run through the jungles with carriers (200 bats) and many Moskitos. Very hard beds in the room, I could not sleep, my back hurt, but it seems to be typical in TH.

Paradise beach hotel has a beautiful, idyllic setting. The hotel is the only one on paradise beach and there is just one other restaurant. It is so calming and peaceful. It's possible to walk through the jungle to the main beach in half an hour. The room was lovely and a short walk from the beach and hotel restaurant. Breakfast was great and it's nice to have the pool to swim in. The stars were amazingly clear from the beach at night.

Communication from the hotel about how to get there was poor. It should be sent several days in advance of arrival and made clear that between certain times it is not possible to arrive at paradise beach by boat because the tide is too low. We did not find the reception staff to be particularly welcoming. The bed was very hard.

The place is in an amazingly beautiful and quiet area of the island, with an almost private and pristine beach. The color of the water is amazing and the atmosphere is super chilled. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices in the restaurants are okay and the food tasted good.

There is no WiFi in the rooms available (which also can be a good thing :-)) and there are no shops or or convenience stores available (just a very very small one from the resort). So if you need some extra water or something else, than you need to buy it from their shop, which is, compared to e.g 7/11, three times the price. Also we had a little stomach issue after the second breakfast, which was not too nice.

The staff were amazing, really made us feel welcome The location is 5*, just you some jungle and the sea. Hornbills in the trees, sea eagles over head and lots of amazing hermit crab. Super relaxing and super isolated The walk to the other side of the island is through jungle Given its a captive market the restaurant was really very good, beer cheap(ish) an its by far the best place to stay on Ngai

Its really isolated which made me slightly stir crazy on the 1st day-quickly relaxed though The accomodation is good but not 5* luxury
