Superb location- could not even imagine a better view. The gardens and bar area onto the beach are stunning with loungers , hammocks, swings and lots of shady spots- which you will be grateful for in the heat . The staff are so helpful and friendly. For a budget price we were treated like royalty. The room is basic but spotlessly clean with a fan and the hammock on the porch was a great touch too. Nice cocktails and fruit shakes.. and bed to ocean was about 50 steps.. all for about £30 a night. Unbelievably good value for this exclusive island. You won’t regret.

Impossible not to be happy in this paradise.

Well you are right on an amazing beach, no roads on the island, no people haggling for money. Just beach and resort. Perfect to unwind. 3 kids just swam and snorkled all day (watch that sunburn). I'd call it more Glamping than a resort

Expect Glamping style rooms (which is to be expected). This adds to the stay but it can be very hot, fans could be directly over the beds.

The beach on Koh Ngai is really gorgeous and this resort sits on what we think is the best part of the beach. It's a stunning setting. We found the lovely family running this place to be very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food we had was very good, fresh and good value too. Our bungalow had all we needed to be comfortable and there were plenty of sunbeds, deckchairs and swings to use during the day. The accommodation was good value too. We thoroughly recommend this place.

Excellent location right on one of the best stretches of the beach. The staff is excellent: friendly, helpful and reliable. Bungalows are older style concrete but very clean and well maintained

Expect to pay higher prices on Ko Ngai than on larger islands & other parts of Thailand.

The island is stunning beautiful, quite quiet and you often get to have the beach just for yourself. If you are looking for pure relaxation and crustal clear water, I would highly recommend visiting it. The accommodation was okay, but there was no hot water in the shower (it is quite hot outside, so it wasn’t really an issue, but I wish I knew this upfront). We had a room with fan, which did not help a lot, so I’d recommend getting the AC option. Payment is made at arrival (I had missed this detail and thought the amount was already credited to my CC ahead of our travel. Again, not an issue and they do accept CC payments (added charge 3%). Breakfast was quite basic with very little choice. The location doesn’t really matter as all hotels are located somewhere alongside the only long beach on the island, so it is okay wherever you book.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great location and beach. Nice details, e.g. could use games for the beach, there are hammocks, etc. Food in the restaurant was better than in the other places around.

Breakfast could have had a better variety and food prices are rather high, though that is the case on the whole island. A couple extra sunbeds on the beach would have been nice.

This place has an amazing location. You’ll be directly at the sea with an excellent view! Their restaurant is also good with reasonable prices and you’re able to sit and enjoy your food whilst enjoying the view. You should try the smoothies as well, very yummy. Their staff is incredible. They are smiling, friendly and made us feel very welcome. They are very attentive to details and you can feel the good vibes and atmosphere. They offer you a drying rack outside of the little house and a hammock. I appreciated their flexibility when we changed our booking. Room was clean, AC worked and we had warm water in the shower at any time of the day. I can recommend this place when you want to enjoy Koh Ngai for some days and a luxury accommodation isn’t on top of your list.

The facilities itself are dated, beds are hard and everything is rather simple. However, it’s not a surprise and you’ll know when you book. You won’t spend much time indoors anyway. There is no fridge but it isn’t mentioned in the description either. So I don’t know why some people complained about it.

Great location on the best part of the main beach with multiple restaurants within short walk. The resort restaurant had good selection itself. We were lucky to get the room closest to the sea which has 2 windows and lets the breeze come in. All rooms are equipped with hammocks. Electricity all day.

The rooms further from the sea mean longer walking distance and they only have one window so they can get very hot. The sea kayaks and paddles provided by the resort are of poor quality (one is filling up with water which was quite tricky since we paddled to the nearby Horse island - bring cut PET bottle or cups to pour out water!)

Food portions a bit small

Amazing location right on the beach; 30 seconds from our beach hut to the sea. Hammock on the porch, breakfast with an incredible view. Cold air conditioner in our room.

Our bathroom was a little tired, but entirely functional. The buffet breakfast was tasty, but often only had limited numbers of items that arrived in reasonably long intervals. The coffee served was instant coffee, this wasn’t really a problem as the beach bar next door served exceptionally good coffees. Lastly, they could probably do with a few more sun loungers. Overall I’d definitely stay again as price and location more than make up for a few shortcomings.
