The view was incredible, also the stuff. Very nice and kind people, always trying to help. All in all I had a lovely stay.

I booked a transfer from the hotel to Koh mook, they hurry me to be at the reception at 10:30, it’s 12;00 and I didn’t left. They put me in a boat in front of the resort and I’m waiting for another speed boat that is not coming. They should coordinate better with the boats company, and not make guests wait for 1,5 hours with no explanation. The same thing happened yesterday with an other guest.

For us, Fantasy Resort was the perfect choice. We were looking for a luxurious highlight at the end of our Thailand trip, and the Beach Front Room exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, with cleaning service every morning while we enjoyed breakfast. The staff was attentive and made sure we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The restaurant served delicious food, and we found the prices to be quite reasonable compared to other places in Thailand. The internet connection was strong, which was a pleasant surprise for such a remote location. The beach was undoubtedly the most beautiful on the island. During low tide, we noticed that beaches near other hotels were often stony, and some hotels didn’t even have a beach at high tide. We walked along the island’s coast and felt reassured that Fantasy Resort was the most modern and luxurious option available. If you’re looking for a more traditional experience, other hotels may appeal to you, but for comfort and elegance, Fantasy Resort stands out. We can’t recommend it enough!

Our room was large, spacious and clean. The terrace was also large, with comfortable wooden chairs and a fantastic sea view. Booking a room on the hillside is well worth the walk for the view! All the staff, from reception to restaurant, housekeeping, gardeners and maintenance were fantastic - super friendly and helpful. After our first visit to the restaurant, our room number and order preferences were remembered on each visit. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and constantly replenished up until the end of service. Food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced, and it was lovely to know that some of the food comes straight from the resort's own vegetable garden. The pool area was clean, with comfortable loungers and sun umbrellas. The resort is right on the beach and easy walking distance along to several other places to eat and drink - take a walk along to BMH Bar & Food, where the owner is really lovely and serves ice cold beers right on the beach. We loved seeing all the oriental pied hornbills who arrive at breakfast and early evening every day.

Although the room was clean and comfortable, it was quite basic and a bit tired for the price point. The lack of sockets in the room made charging things overnight a bit tricky. The whole resort looks a little tired, the old spa area in particular, but it's clear the staff do take pride in keeping everything tidy.

Beach location is amazing, we could see the ocean from our room. The meals were very good, including some vegetarian. It is more expensive than mainland but seemed fair because everything needs to be brought in. Some fruits and vegetables are grown on the island and it'd be cool to promote this.

Because of the high and low tide, the best swimming is mid-day when it's very sunny (we were there in summer). The pool should be open earlier and later (7-9 instead of 9-7). There are fewer boat trips available late in the season, but we did have a wonderful time on a private boat, and all the boat rides are fun and have amazing scenery.

You’re here for the deserted tropical island vibe and that is 200% what you get. Best view of my life every single day, clearest water ever! This resort is on the very best location on the whole island. It’s also the cheapest resort on the island and has very decent food.

It has a pool but it’s crammed in the back of the property, no one goes there. The aesthetics of the resort are a bit cheap and outdated, the next door Tanya’s resort is much nicer looking (but also twice the price). They have better sunbeds as well so you can just lay there during the day, no one will mind! You won’t be in your room that much anyway and with this view you won’t mind the looks of your resort!

Koh Hai Fantasy resort give me the first instant feeling is, it is a huge resort in that island. Beach is so comfortable, the sand is smooth. I have well spend my holidays on this beach from morning till afternoon, with beers, feeling fantastic. The room my wife and me like it. But, just individual preference, that the pillow is a bit soft for me. We stay there for 3 night, the hotel staff clean it every morning when we were out for our activities. Appreciated it a lot.

It was a wonderful stay. Everything was fantastic. The staff, the breakfast, location etc… I would go back there in a heart beat. Food is amazing in the resort. Excellent value for money. Take enough cash with you. Hike to Paradise beach is a must! (wear bug spray) This is a really lovely place.

The pool was a little out of the way (not on the beach) Great in the early evening when it was empty though.

No matter where you stay on this island you will experience something amazing. The peace and quiet, the turquoise water, the most beautiful coral reef I have seen in Thailand, The resort itself, very friendly staff, the fantastic food both at breakfast and in the restaurant they serve through the whole day. We stayed in a standard room. Basic room, air conditioning, fridge. Generally everything you need, but it is very basic accommodation, for the price I expected a little something more exquisite.However, 20m to the beach makes up for everything. Anyway, in a place like this island you do not sit in a room :) you just enjoy your surroundings

We have been touring Asia and stopped off at Koh hai Fantasy Resort. We loved it so much we returned again 3 weeks later. Island paradise. Peace and tranquility on a gorgeous Island. Second time round we managed to snag a beachfront room. Perfect for the amazing sunrises.

There were some jellyfish around at times. It happens!!

The rooms are spacious and in good conditions. All very clean. The staff is always available by message before arrival and during the stay. Easy to do a room upgrade on arrival. Easy to book transfer to and from the hotel. The breakfast has a lot of options. The menu for lunch and dinner is very good. Massage personnel are very kind and professional. Everything very cleaned. No bugs or geckos inside the room.
