Our room was a spacious one on an upper floor with a view of the square from a small roof terrace. The bathroom was very spacious with both a bath and a separate shower. Good wi-fi connection for an older property. Good location overlooking Luisenberg Platz, with trams and bus stops nearby.

The room was a little under-provided for in terms of electric sockets. Breakfast was disappointing in range and the logistics were awkward - one had to go 'round' the buffet several times before spotting things, and I had to ask for 'black tea'. This was a shame as I had a perfect iced coffee in the venue the previous afternoon.

Great location and lots of character to the hotel.

Being charged for an additional pod for the coffee machine when we were there two nights and there there only two pods (one for espresso and one for a longer coffee) for two people for the duration of our stay. In fairness when we explained to the receptionist that we had left one pod in the room and had only used the longer coffee pod supplied and the additional one we requested she deducted it from our bill but it just felt rather miserly especially as we had paid extra for a superior room.

It was perfectly located, close to the main Market square and most of the things one wants to see in Weimar. It was clean, roomy, furnished with antiques that gives one the atmosphere you want when visiting an historic place. Loved the high ceilings and wall to wall windows, luxury curtains, and the bed was comfy. Staff was helpful and friendly, check in was easy as the Familien Hotel where you pick up the keys, is close by the apartment. Lots of restaurants nearby. Great ‘vibe’ to the accommodations to match the old city. There is a washing machine on the ground floor but no dryer, just a clothes rack, which was fine for me as I did my laundry on the first night and it. had time to dry before I left.

I thought I might find a grocery store nearby so I could do a few meals in the kitchen but although I walked round most of the old town streets I did not find one. But it was handy having the fridge to put drinks and fruit in and sometimes leftovers from restaurant meals. I could have asked staff where to shop but in the end there were too many great places to eat (indoors and out) at, that I was not inclined to cook anyway. But the kitchen had everything one would need, if you did want to cook.

Lovely, reasonably priced Hotel. The staff were really lovely, helpful and spoke impeccable English (which was very helpful). The location was brilliant, extremely close to the parks and palaces. Great local restaurants.

Nothing really. My imagination could go wild with room decor which was somewhat dated but didn't detract from all the pluses of the hotel.

Excellent location. Room (suite!) was very comfortable but looked out onto walkway so close the curtains if you don’t want to be seen! Staff were very friendly and so helpful Restaurant was good and breakfast had a good range of continental and cooked but things ran out by 8am so be early I strongly recommend

Nothing major

Very clean and comfortable. My room was in an historic part of the building and I was especially pleased to see the present owners were preserving this history. It gives the Hotel character and interest. All the staff on Reception were friendly and helpful.

The only thing was the reading lamp by my bed was dull - difficult to read after dark.

Location: just opposite to the Brandenburg Gate and very close to the Sanssouci Park. Room: very spacious room with balcony, facing Luisenplatz and Brandenburg gate

All fine. If it’s worth mentioning, the only thing was that some of the plates and bowls in breakfast room were not clean.

From the moment I checked in I was made to feel Welcome. The location was fantastic with several excellent restaurants close by . The breakfast was fresh and varied.the view onto Luisenplatz was entertaining but not too noisy. Closeness to tram and bus made getting around Potsdam easy

Very good location.

There is no parking on site as it is marked in booking. Hotel charge you for parking in the public parking more than cost of the public parking itself (it cost 15 eur/day but hotel charge you 30€ as if you stay two days even its only overnight). We took public parking on our own and paid 15 eur only.

Hotel is located on Luisenplatz, that's a great starting point to city-walk Potsdam: you can get to Sanssouci park by foot and see Brandenburger gates right in front of the Hotel. There's a tram and bus stops nearby, along with 'Hop-on, hop-off' buses on the Platz, so navigation to main train station and along the city is pretty easy, too. The hotel itself is nice and a bit old-fashioned , the room was big (we took a suite) with a small balcony and a kitchenette. The bad was comfortable and soft and at our request bathrobes and sleepers were also provided. Breakfast was nice, there was even ice-cream.

hoped that view from the room would be on Luisenplatz, but it was on a small garden below and a nearby building
