The staff was amazing. Super helpful. In fact, when I asked where could I buy a hot water bottle for my daughter, one of the guys in reception just took me to the store in his bike. This was just 10 minutes before closing time. It was greatly appreciated. They also organized a really good guide for us and told us about what was there to do in regards to tours. Great staff. The restaurant in the hostal was good with good food for a good price.

On the first morning we got woken up by a mosque at about 5.30 am. This was not the best, but only happened one day out of the 4 were were there. The location is a bit out of the way from the nice part of town, but you can walk about 10 minutes and you can be by the river. Walking there is a bit of a mission with no paths though.

Good deal quality-price. Girls running the hostel are sweet, nice, and helpful. They helped to arrange a tour to visit around, and my bus connection. Big space resting area. I could even chill and take a shower after check-out while waiting for my bus to next destination (which was at the evening). Free transportation to bus stop was arranged. Definetely a recommendation on low budget!

Nothing big but in the evening, because of AC was a bit cold. Maybe I felt It because I was on an upper bed. I am sure you could ask for an extra blanket, as I didn't know didn't do.

Our stay was such a good value for money😁.The staff were great so friendly and they did everything they could to make you feel comfortable.💕They had a great communal area where you can meet other travellers and also offered food and drink. It also had a great pool table too. The room was modern and the beds were very comfortable but the room got really cold at night as you only have a silk sheet as a duvet, but we did ask for another blanket and they kindly provided it. We bought a tour through the hostel it was such great value for money for everything you got to see. Ask for Sopon when you book a tour he was amazing!! Overall we had a great stay🥰🥰

Everything you buy within the hostel such as tours, motorbike rental or food and drink goes on a tab and you pay when you check out which is fine and great for some, but we did ask the owner multiple times if we could pay just upfront just so we had better idea on our money spends as backpackers and he just kept saying no and wouldn’t let us until checkout which was a little annoying but not the end of the world. The doors of the room was bent and there was a gap between. A few things in the room were broken or loose off the wall. 🙂

Hostel is simple but very cheap, so good price quality ratio. Room was clean and spacious. Set breakfast for 3 usd was very nice. Fun outdoor social area with pooltable. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location seems a bit further from the center so I don't know about restaurants nearby (we only stayed 1 night and had all our meals at the hostel).

Water in the shower didn't drain, kind of gross to stand in a few centimeters of dirty water. Men's toilets were smelly and there was no toilet paper (when I asked, they provided it immediately). Walls are thin, so quite some noise from other quests and from outside.

🏠 The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean as well. 🙋‍♂️ The young guy who received us at the reception was super kind, accomodating and enthusiastic. He said he was new here but we wouldn't have noticed if he hadn't told us :)

🔊 The space in front of the room door kind of works as a sound amplifier which means that all sounds coming from that direction (e.g. the restaurant or pool table) are easily heard in the room (A03). That was a little inconvenient when we were trying to sleep early (around 10pm).

The place is exactly what you should expect for the price in terms of facilities. As a bonus the staff are really friendly and attentive, even in terms of small things like moving fans for us when sitting in the communal area. The bathroom is very small but functioning and good hot water supply. Pool table is also cool even if a bit old etc

Despite being exactly what we booked I would not recommend the fan room if you cannot handle being fairly warm when sleeping! It is also a bit away from places for tourists to eat/drink

Great place to stay whilst in Battambang. The room was clean, A/C worked well and staff were very attentive, really appreciate that they picked us up from where the bus dropped us off - a great relief when being inundated by tuktuk drivers. The pool table was a great bonus! The tours they offer are great value, we highly recommend. Food options in the restaurant could be improved and didn’t really like the material of the bedding or the extremely firm pillow. Great value overall, highly recommend.

Stayed in one of the double beds in hostel and it was so nice, easily the best one we have stayed at in south east Asia. The bed is comfy, roomy, very clean and has amazing cupboards and locker spaces, along with really good lights, WiFi and curtains. The bathrooms were spotless. But the best thing were the staff! They were so friendly and helpful, recommending amazing tours and helping us out when we accidentally checked out too early because we got our days mixed up. Thank you!

Everything was great

Nice place for good price with more local vibe than the places we went before. Staff very efficient and very kind, we were treated very nicely. Highly recommend the full day tuk tuk tour (that you can book from the reception) with sophan (not sure about the spelling) who is a really nice guy with a great attitude and who showed us so many cool places around Battambang including the main attractions (bamboo train, killing caves, bat caves) and more (rice paper crafts, rice alcohol crafts, fermented fish crafts etc). We also got nice food from the restaurant, booked our taxi to Siem reap and used the laundry service there, so everything was super easy.

We stayed two nights at Por Chey and it was a great surprise! Located only fifteen minutes on foot from the main square in a tranquil area, the hostel provides also drinks and meals for a very convenient price, from early in the morning until late in the evening. The young personnel is welcoming and nice, provides suggestions on tours and helps with the pick up from the bus station (for free) and with the planning of the departure. The rooms are very clean. The great joy of our staying was meeting Mr. Yo, who collaborates with the hostel and accompanied us for a very fair price with his tuk tuk through the beautiful countryside of Battambang, visiting temples and local manufacturies, explaining us with enthusiasm in a very good English things that we alone wouldn't have been able to understand. We really recommend a day-tour with him: it has been a great pleasure!
