We arrived at the hotel by car late at night, and everything went smoothly thanks to the clear and accurate instructions provided by the hotel. At the entrance, there’s a self-service machine that automatically issues room key cards, which worked perfectly. In the room, we found a parking voucher for a nearby parking lot - very convenient. The location of the hotel is excellent, just a 5–6 minute walk from the city center, yet it’s situated on a very quiet street and close to tram stops. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, exactly what we needed to start the day. Our room was also great - clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The only minor issue was with the shower drain, which didn’t work very well. By the end of our stay, a puddle would remain in the shower area, which was a bit inconvenient , but this was the only downside. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

We had the best sleep we had in ages in this hotel, wish I could have those pillows and bedding at home too. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room is very nice, spacious, modern with a nice big shower. I enjoyed seeing they had toiletries from Rituals. The location is amazing, it was perfect for us for visiting the Christmas markets. We arrived early in the morning and left our luggage at the hotel. Luckily our room was ready a bit earlier and were glad we could rest. The room was cleaned everyday and we appreciated it! When we return to Leipzig, I would like to return to this hotel!

We hade some sewage smell in the bathroom at some point, but didn't last.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and in case it did not need cleaning on a certain day, there was the option to not have it cleaned in favor of the environment. The location was great, far enough from the noise of the city, and close enough to the city center to not need to use public transportation. There was a fridge on our floor to store any items that needed cooling. The items could be labeled by date and room number. There was also a microwave. The theme of the hotel, books, was well-displayed. There were books on every floor and probably in every room. The flying book pages printed above the bed on the wall were very artistic. There was a cooling device in our room that worked well. There was a wending machine and coffee machine on the first floor that people could use, even if they had not booked the breakfast.

The shutters did not make the room pitch black. The mattress was a bit soft. The wending machine was malfunctioning a little. It almost opened the bottle of Coke Zero I had bought while delivering it.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location--fairly secluded/quiet; reasonable walking-distance to historic areas, restaurants, shopping. Very clean. Comfortable mattress/pillows and shower. Lovely buffet breakfast (additional cost). Fun/clever book theme; maybe add a few more books in English. :) Great value for the price!

Not enough air conditioning. The fan helped, but the room tended to be a bit too warm at night even with open windows. The duvet was quite heavy (cotton mattress pad in a sheet cover), Removing the pad and just using the sheet helped. Only one TV station in English (Sky News, Britain)

Good breakfast (EU14), good gluten-free bread (with a toaster which one can use!), wonderful staff. Chris went out of his way to be kind, considerate and professional, but all the staff were lovely and friendly. Good bed, nice interior. Quiet, yet so central. Fresh apples in the lobby which we loved.

We had hoped to discover wonderful books as we absolutely love reading. However, the books were all only German and all old and chosen more for decoration (often beautifully colour-coded) than for content. So except for a classic here and there, there were mostly cheap, bad books. Secondhand books are so cheap in Germany, one could so easily upgrade this selection at almost no cost and add a few other languages (at least in the lobby!) for instance.

Great location, just outside the town centre, on a quiet road. Lovely, modern-style, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, large TV screen, clean, bathroom with rain shower. Great breakfast, buffet-style, in lovely setting, with nice touches, such as flowers on table. Staff is kind and helpful, they provided a kettle and cups on request. The book theme is great too. Pleasant small lobby to hang out and read. Exactly my kind of hotel. Looking forward to coming back. Perfect stay. Thank you!!

Hotel was spotless. Room was very good and bed very comfortable. Staff were excellent. Very close to the city centre. Breakfast was nice, the food was excellent quality. Pastries that were fresh. Staff attentive.

Breakfast was just a little too expensive. Shutters on windows did not keep out all the light in the early morning. Would have preferred curtains. However it was dark enough during the night.

The hotel has a very calm and welcoming vibe. It is beautifully designed with all the books. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. They even offered vegan options for breakfast and had a whole plate ready for me in the morning which I really appreciated.

The only minus was that our room didn’t have a fridge, but it wasn’t a big problem.

The Hotel is really wonderfully located close to lots of attractions. I loved the book theme and the thought put into the ideas surrounding the theme. The staff were attentive and assisted whenever necessary. The room we had was spacious and had all the necessities. Thanks for the small sweetie gifts and complimentary bottle of water in the room.

Nice hotel with modern clean and spacious rooms and a very good bath room. The 'book' theme adds a nice personal touch. People are very friendly. The breakfast is really good. It is located very close to the center of the town, but yet in a quiet environment.
