The location across the street from Leipzig Hauptbahnhof was perfect for us arriving by train from Berlin. It was a very short walk to the hotel. Note - if arriving by bus, the Bus Station is adjacent to the train station. The staff were wonderfully friendly and allowed me a 1pm check-in which I'd requested (normally 3pm). My rate included breakfast which was of a very high standard indeed. The room was very smart and had lovely artwork and fittings. The AC was excellent as the days we were in Leipzig were in the mid 30s. The room was always beautifully cool. I only had 2 nights at the Seaside Park Hotel and only had dinner on one of those nights at the restaurant. I now regret that decision because we had an absolutely delicious meal and was served by a very smart, intelligent waiter. The Lobster Bisque was first class and our desserts were fabulous. Another bonus is the hotel is located a short walk from the old town centre and the Market Square. Also the,Hochhaus Skyscraper with its viewing platform 35 floors up is in the same area. We were lucky enough to catch the St. Thomas Church Boys choir 6pm concert one evening, at €3, a bargain! An absolutely superb 1 hour concert. The trams, buses and trains are minutes away from the hotel but we tended to walk as everything was so close by. Overall this was a superb stay at a very well run hotel. The price was worth it. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to the discerning traveller looking for quality accommodation in Leipzig. Ten out of ten.

Nothing really. I wish the front of house staff had pushed the restaurant a bit more. It wasn't mentioned by them. It's in the same room as breakfast is served. A quirky, delightful room with some tables set up as if in train carriages. There are train motifs everywhere and b&w videos of steam locomotives. Nothing is intrusive. Highly imaginative. Full credit to the designer of the restaurant.

This is a fantastic location and a beautifully quiet and well proportioned room, with a nice desk so it's easy to work and sleep and see the city. I recommend it to anyone touring this part of Germany. It is right by the train station so you can use public transport to get anywhere else in Leipzig, or just walk to e.g. the christmas market. The breakfast room has this fantastic old train theme thing. There's great art deco everywhere.

It was Christmas time and the breakfast room was a bit too full of of older people who were sneezing and coughing right on top of each other. I know it's not presently a lock down, but it would be nice if they assured us they had strong air filtration, and maybe if they encouraged people who were coughing to have breakfast in their rooms, not at a buffet!

The hotel is very conveniently located - very close to the main train station and tram lines. The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was clean and well equipped; the coffee machine worked well and had excellent Illy coffee. The spa area was nice with a sauna and jacuzzi/hot tub. They allowed us to store our bags after check out, so we could explore more of the city and we picked them up just before heading back to the train station.

I wish the water in the jacuzzi had been a little bit hotter. It was a cold night and the extra warmth would have been nice- but it was fine.

Couldn’t have a better location across from the train station and near the town center. We were upgraded to a suite with his and hers closets and separate seating area. The bed was very comfortable. Our room was incredibly quiet. The breakfast was excellent with many options which we sampled over 5 days. The staff was amazingly efficient and attentive in clearing tables.

The only problem was the tub that my wife felt was too slippery without grab bars.

Nice value hotel near the train station and central to most sites. Comfortable, quiet, and well equipped room. Many good restaurants to chose from.

The shower in the room was not private and just located inside the front door to the room, not in an enclosed bathroom. Fine as long as you are alone or with someone you are comfortable with. And nobody opens your room door while you are showering. Not a big deal, but a bit odd.

Superb location near the railway station but quiet. Stylish interior based on railway travel which we liked especially in the restaurant. Quality finishes throughout with good rooms and cleverly designed bathrooms- great to have a Bath not just a shower when on holiday. Superb buffet breakfast efficiently managed so we were never waiting for food or coffee. No waiting for lifts either- the whole atmosphere was calm and efficient.

We weren’t aware that breakfast was an extra cost which was a surprise at check out- this wasn’t clear at booking or check in. We took advantage of a special offer- not sure we could afford to stay for a week if we hadn’t had this.

We stay in Leipzig regularly on our way to/from Austria, and normally take different hotel which was not available this time.

In overall, experience is good, however, the room was facing the train station and we were unable to open window during the night as it was too noisy. Also, nearby parking facility is insanely expensive and hotel does not offer reduced rate, instead they suggest to use parking garage in adjacent block (what causes you to carry your luggage for few hundred meters).

Very good located, in front of Haupbahnhof, right on the shopping street. Clean, breakfast good. The only negative is they don t offer coffee machine in the room wich is odd at a 4 star hotel and are not willing to help at least with coffee if you have early airport hours. At 5 am they told us we can t get a coffee, (not breakfast wich was also paid,) because the coffee machine is programmed to start at 6!!

Best Breakfast in Germany! I love the breakfast at this hotel, there is such a variety on offer, including fresh oranges to make your own freshly squeezed orange juice and a wafflemaker waiting for you to simply pour the batter in. The only place I ever eat waffles! the beds are comfortable, the linen very nice, the carpets under foot soothing after walking around town too much and the bathtub spacious and relaxing after a long day.

the hotel has a very convenient location, it's right opposite fro the train station and in the beginning of the shopping streets. We got a room to the inner yard so it was very calm and no street noise. Plus, it has a variable breakfast.

Well, shower cell doesn't have any curtain and it's actually part of the room not in a separate bathroom. Which is obviously fancy but may be inconvenient for a stay with somebody that you are not very close with. :)
