The big advantage of the accommodation is the location right next to the main train station with a parking garage (7,- EUR / day), so you are near the historical center, but at the same time you are still mobile whether by train or car. Beautiful historic building and in it an apartment on the second floor (only by stairs). It is large enough and has a separate bedroom and a very well-equipped kitchen, the bathroom has a bathtub and toilet. Thanks to the location, there are plenty of shops and refreshments in the area that operate late into the night and on weekends.

The apartment's windows only face the street, so you can hear the trams quite a bit, and the mattress in the bedroom is a bit softer, but that's subjective. But it's definitely not something that bothers me.

The place is exceptionally well located, just by the station. Lovely building and the flat is great - spacious and light.

We were only given one key initially, and after asking could only get 2 total. Considering there were 4 of us - 2 individuals and 1 couple - that was not enough as we didn't constantly want to stay together. Given that the flat is supposed to accommodate 6 people, presumably 3 couples, at least 2 keys as standard is essential. 3 really ought to be available. It's a minor thing as the flat is great and I'd still recommend it, but this really needs to be addressed when you're advertising the property for so many people.

The location is excellent within walking distance to the city center, zoo and even Red Bull Arena. The apartment was impeccably clean and the instructions for where to park long-term at the zoo was a great tip. The check-in was simple with keys stored at a nearby location in a lock box. All the linens were new and the hosts are generous with the amount of towels and toilet paper they left us for our stay.

The only downside is that the apartment does not have air conditioning and there is no safe. I would have also preferred another option for the pillows as they were extremely soft and not my type of pillow so if there were firmer pillows as an option in the closet that would have then made my stay perfect.

Really appreciated that tea and coffee were provided by our hosts. Plenty of towels and bedding for the sofa-bed. Good little air-con unit. All felt fresh.

It's a lovely apartment- really clean, modern and spacious. We would always prefer 2 pillows each, but that's being uber-picky. It will be too noisy for some, being next to the station and loud trams, and some won't like the 68-stair climb (no lift!) But we managed - closing the windows worked well (East facing so means sun comes in during a.m. anyway).

The location of the apartment - at a stone's throw from Leipzig Hbf. The size of the apartment, the cleanliness, the lighting, the facilities provided were all very good. The wooden staircase of the building lent it an old world charm, though it was cumbersome to carry luggage up two floors.

The code which allowed entry into the building did not always work! This can prove to be one's undoing, especially if one returns late night! The prospect of spending the night on the pavement is not exactly charming, is it? There was no washing machine for clothes! An apartment that charges more than €100/- per day MUST have a washing machine!

The apartment is very spacious, clean and has all the amenities. It's situated near the central station which means that it is very close by to public transport. I did not cook anything but there was everything I would have needed if I wanted to, including spices.

Some of tiles in the kitchen looked wobbly, like only gravity was holding them in their place. I found that a little weird. I was also asked for an additional fee just before visiting. I was told that this was because of a recently introduced tax. So it might be a one off thing.

It was very spacious, with good cross ventilation that kept it from getting too warm on some very hot days. The kitchen was well appointed. It’s located very near the train station and tram center, and easily walkable to the center of town. When our adult son wanted to join us for a few days, they delivered bedding for one of the convertible sofas.

I wish it had laundry facilities, and (being Americans) a freezer would have been nice.

The apartment is large. There was also a balcony with a view of the inside of the street buildings. The location is fascinating. The kitchen is awesome. I wish to stay there for a bit longer to enjoy using the whole apartment.

In order to obtain the apartment keys, we had to visit a different location, which initially caused some confusion. Additionally, we noticed a shortage of both coffee and shampoo (for hair). Even though there were two bathrooms, one of them had problems with draining the water.

Owner communications were good in advance. Picked up keys in luck box. Apartment very clean and well equipped kitchen with some spices, oil etc. Huge apt was nice. Across from train station. Walk into core in a block and easy to see sights without needing a car

There was some road noise early morning construction in front room where the kids slept. Some interesting characters in the neighborhood but they didn't bother anyone.

It's a pretty nice flat; clean, modern, nice bathrooms/beds There are 1 or 2 comments about the keys being a little awkward to collect, but it's fine. It's a bit disorienting in that you have to access another block of flats entry level to gain access to the lockbox first, but other than that it's no problem

Those curtains are next to pointless, and it absolutely should be looked at by the host. The bedrooms are also next to a road, so if you need the silence think about some ear plugs or such These are relatively minor things, to be fair
