Title: A Royal Stay – Absolutely Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we arrived at Alpine Palace in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, we truly felt special. This hotel easily deserves a perfect 10. Everything is just right – from arrival to departure, you feel like royalty here. We stayed in a beautiful suite that was simply perfect: spacious, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything you could wish for. Comfort and attention to detail are on a top level. The staff is exceptionally professional and welcoming. Every single person deserves a compliment – from the doorman to the housekeeping team, from the restaurant staff to the kitchen brigade, and from the reception to the management. Their friendliness and eye for detail make the stay truly special. The cuisine is a culinary highlight. Every meal was a feast, both in taste and presentation. The cooking here is of an outstanding standard and adds greatly to the experience. It’s not a budget hotel, but you absolutely get value for your money. The quality, service, and atmosphere make it easy to completely relax and enjoy every moment. In short: Alpine Palace is not just a place to stay – it’s an experience. We will gladly return!

As such big hotel you can assume a lot of good things about it, like diverse breakfast with full of options. Room was big enough, SPA area nice, and most important location - in city center within 30sec walk to the gondola lift. Wallet parking if someone likes it.

This is one of those hotels that aimed to be very modern in the year 2000, but today feel terribly outdated, showing how the passage of time has negatively impacted the design. Ski lockers are binded to your room number, so if you are unlucky as we vere, we got small locker which couldn't fit more than one snowboard. Winter price is horrendous, but you don't get much choice.

Family room was quite spacious, comfortable enough for 2+2. Food in restaurant was good, nice bar at lobby area. As already written here, overall it´s not equal to 5 stars hotel, some equipment is quite outdated, but this is not a big issue in our opinion.

Regulation of smokers is more than needed, this got stucked somewhere in the last century. Smoke was smelling to our room from some of surrounding balcony, difficult to escape it as natural ventilation was needed due to hot weather. Moreover, it is allowed to smoke in all outdoor areas, it means including pool and spa zone. Smokers were sitting in jacuzzi with dirty ashtrays on the edge, this is really disgusting. I tried a small talk with them, but was argued that smoking is allowed there, my trouble. We did not go there with our children anymore during our stay.

Our package included breakfast und dinner with 5 courses - every meal has been delicious and we enjoyed all of them. Our rooms were perfect, really comfy beds and with a fantastic view. We loved the SPA, also the treatments (beauty and massages) have been extraordinary! The idea of offering teen-treatments in the SPA is remarkable. Our two teens loved the stay very much. The location is great for every thinkable adventure. Our dog Pepsi was very fond of the dog bed - I already bought the same for Pepsi at home.

The only thing we did not like were our smoking neighbours and their air pollution: Unfortunately we had a room next to two heavy smokers! For hours hey sat at the balcony and smoked the whole time while playing cards and drinking cheap wine from the supermarket. So we had to keep our door to the balcony closed most of the time and we could not enjoy the fresh air from the mountains! This could be avoided by positioning smokers at distant rooms to non-smokers!

Location, Spa, pools, rooms all very good. Afternoon lunch in reception is a nice touch for when you get back from the slopes

Paid parking is a rip off (€25 per day) (although tip we just parked our rental car around the corner for the week on a footpath for free and it was fine). Staff were not great for recommendations for food but otherwise were very nice. Also if you have kids in ski school, while the location was ski to door, we had to walk to drop the kids to ski school each day (but that was our lack of research rather than the hotels fault)

Our family ski a lot in Austria in many different centers. Although the hotels are good, the staff are somehow not polite. But this hotel's staff is very friendly and helpful. Esp, our waiter at dinner, Ana! She is the 6th star of this hotel :) I do always appreciate people who care&love their jobs. She is that kind. Thanks Ana for the lovely dinner times!

Hotel restaurant was very good, all hotel staff very kind, professional and ready to help. Spa and wellness was excellent, especially the person who works there - very kind/professional/providing exceptional service to all customers. Generally, the hotel premises were very good, well organized service and great location for skiing (next to one of the gondolas)! Ski storage in the hotel was also great, very good positioned, spacious and tidy.

The only issue we had was heating in the room on the 5th floor. I believe the rooms on the lower floors didn't have that problem, because it was a floor heated system.

The location of the hotel and a facilities are exactly what you would expect.

The spa facilities are excellent except they are very tired and need updating, which I understand is going to be happening within the next 18 months.

Great service from arrival with valet and ski deposit. Nice spacious room. Right next to lift

There was a group of rather annoying guests in the dining area, who made the dining experience sometimes a bit tough to appreciate.

The service in the restaurant was superb, Thomas, Ana and Steffi really made us feel like we were home. No question we will come back.
