One of the nicest places I've ever stayed in. This is a completely and impeccably renovated old motel; everything you see and touch is completely new because the remodeling took it down to the studs. It's family-run in the very best way by a friendly, engaging couple who are generous (they offered me some of their dinner) and caring. My room had a small kitchenette area with a high-quality coffeemaker (along with good, locally-roasted coffee), ice machine, and dishes in addition to the usual mini-fridge and microwave. The entire property is beautiful, with fantastic views of the mesa, games, and a seating area around a fire pit (with wood provided) in back. This place would be great for couples or families. You should stay here!

There was absolutely nothing to not like! This place is as close to perfect as possible.

We like to support small family businesses wherever we go and the Homestead did not disappoint us at all. It was a wonderful discovery and we would recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the Grand Junction area. Our room was quiet, clean and had delicious ground coffee and a coffee maker for our early morning caffeine fix. The back patio was delightful with a relaxing view of the mesa beyond and a nice grass area. There was a fire pit which we did not use, but seemed like a nice amenity. Also it is just a quick drive to the downtown area of Palisade so for dinner and breakfast we enjoyed the local eateries.

Such a cute renovated hotel in Palisade. It was extremely comfortable, well decorated, clean and was full of thoughtful touches! We needed a place to stay for the night on a roadtrip and I am very glad we were able to find it. The rooms have fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, AC/ heat, and an ice machine. The towels are super soft too. There is a backyard area with cornhole and a firepit with a beautiful view but we didn't get the chance to use it. This is the perfect place to stay for a homebase while wine tasting in Palisade. Checking in and out was seamless and easy and it was so convenient to be able to park right outside our room. Thanks for a great stay!

The Homestead is just right off of the highway into town. A quiet location and sooo easy to get to. A "backyard" of beautiful green grass was an added bonus and directly out the back door. Our dog was thrilled! The kitchen area is equipped with everything you can need including real plates and utensils! A bonus. AND there are NO stairs to haul luggage up and down.

The room is a bit small but very well thought out and well appointed. It was only my husband and I and our 14-pound dog so it was not a problem. Kitchen area is meant for one person at a time.

Location was far enough away from Main Street so it was quiet with less traffic. We booked two rooms with an adjoining door, and there were back doors that led to a nice grassy area and patio for our two dogs. Interior looked new and updated, and the kitchen area provided dishes, coffee maker, microwave, frig, and set up table. The ice maker machine was great, and the beds were comfortable. The property owners were very communicative and responsive.

There was an ant problem outside the door which was being treated daily, and numerous fruit flies around.

Most hotels cut some corners where they can. The Homestead does not. At every detail they impress. Some of the benefits: Frictionless check in. A real coffee machine with good ground coffee. Soft toilet paper. Comfy beds. A fun common area back yard. Cool location. We walked to the Clark Distillery on the River for dinner. This is authentic, unspoiled Colorado. Glad we found this spot. 10 out of 10 would stay there again.

Unfortunately due to unexpected delays we arrived really late and left fairly early next morning so we barely even got to look around the room or enjoy it but it did look very nice, cozy, clean. The beds were comfortable. The view out back was beautiful! Fire pit and chairs out back. Nice location in the beautiful vineyard town of palisade. Staff also great. Checked in on us through text I believe to see if everything was OK since we were very late getting there.

Room just a little small for us and dogs but overall great.

This property is so cute! And had beautiful views and the sweetest family that operates and owns it! They were so helpful and communicative! We stayed 2 times on our roadtrip through Colorado and Utah! We loved our stay and the thoughtful details that were provided! We enjoyed that we had little ice machine in each room! We had a beautiful stay and would recommend and choose again if we were in the area!

The area is gorgeous, the room was super comfortable, the hosts were very sweet. We had such a good night here! This was a splurge on an otherwise very low-budget road trip and felt very worth it.

Lots of mosquitoes outside but of course this isn’t the hosts’ fault! They’ve got zappers everywhere which helped a lot. It’s summertime, we had bug spray on us, NBD.

Wow, this place is truly a hidden gem! I am so happy to have found it. The safety and cleanliness here are top-notch, and the organization is impressive. The owner, Micheal, is so welcoming and it's comforting to know that he and his family live nearby. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, and the peacefulness of this place is unmatched. It's the perfect combination of being tucked away from the busy city life, but still easily accessible from the main roads that lead to the breathtaking mountains of Colorado. I couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and unwind.
