Thank you Rita Cruise for an exceptional getaway. Cruise manager Happy exceeded our expectations :)He was very attentive, accommodating and provided the best customer service for us. Cruise was very modern and was perfect way to see Halong Bay. Food was good and cocktails happy house was fun.

I picked this cruise because it had a pool. However, the pool looked like it was not cleaned for months. It had green slime and did not feel like it was chlorinated. On the last day we saw the water was pumped out and pool was cleaned. Probably someone else made a complaint. First time we visited Halong Bay 10 years ago and it was paradise on earth. Now it is getting destroyed by rubbish and too many cruise boats.It is absolutely heart breaking how much rubbish and diesel is floating in the water. We could not relax as the rubbish situation was very distressing. Vietnam government really needs to look into this, otherwise in another 10 years this place will be a big dump.

Everything about this screamed luxury. The rooms were beautiful, the beds were so comfortable, food was amazing and the setting is just perfect.

The cocktails need work. They certainly weren't luxury, we had better margaritas on beer street in Hanoi. You'd expect a luxury cruise like this to serve high quality cocktails. We were also told to bed at 10.15 by staff who were all, by that time, in their piamas and even serving us behind the bar in their PJs. This put a bit of a downer on the trip for us and is the only reason it didn't get a 10/10

The cruise ship was amazing. Rooms were beautifully decorated, just like the picture. I wish we could have done a 2 night cruise instead to allow for more relax time but we managed to find a good balance on the overnight cruise. Busy first day of activities - kayaking through two caves, swimming, happy hour, spring roll cooking class was a hit with the kids, as was the mini golf upstairs. Beautiful food for every meal and Mr Happy, our cruise director, was so lovely and really went out of his way to make sure everyone was enjoying their stay. Special thanks to Ms Alice Nguyen, our sales executive from Rita Cruises, who was fabulous with her communication on email and What’s App in the lead up to our cruise, and even came to meet with us in person at our hotel afterwards to give us a little gift to say thanks for choosing their company. We loved the cruise and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a Halong Bay cruise. This one went to Lan Ha so a bit further than Halong where there were less boats and some crystal clear water as many parts of Halong Bay unfortunately are littered with plastic.

Nothing really. The room was a tight squeeze for four people and luggage but that’s to be expected on a ship. We did discover our friends we made on the trip had a slightly bigger room than us so perhaps consider all size types when booking.

It was an exceptional stay and we loved the tour. The pickup convenience was good and the coach was very comfortable. Rooms were very good and the staff were friendly. Special thanks for taking care of our dietary restrictions on board for every meal.

The staff attitude fell towards the end of the trip. It would have been better if there was more clarity on kayaking tour locations. We had planned to do it in the morning but it was too early and extremely cold. We would have loved to do it the day before. Biggest problem was the reduced time in the actual cruise because we got access to the rooms only by 2 pm and were asked to check out by 10 am already. I did not pay for that. We should have full access as per the check in, check out time.

We cannot thank the Rita Cruises team enough for making our proposal such a truly unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was beyond perfect. A very special shout-out to Alice, Black, and Daniel, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of – your kindness and attention made our trip one we will cherish forever. We stayed in the President Suite, which was absolutely outstanding – spacious, luxurious, and offering breathtaking views of Ha Long Bay. The food on board was exceptional, with every meal beautifully presented and delicious. The activities were well organised, enjoyable, and gave us the chance to really appreciate the magic of Ha Long Bay, whilst still leaving plenty of time to relax. What truly stood out was the incredible service and warmth from the entire team – nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt so well looked after. If you are considering a cruise in Ha Long Bay, we could not recommend Rita Cruises highly enough. They made one of the most important moments of our lives even more special, and we will forever be grateful.

Very helpful staff, especially ms Alice, who made sure we felt comfortable at all times. Room was big and tidy, we had our best sleep in Vietnam, beautiful views on Halong bay in the morning. Food was delicious, drinks resonably priced (beer 2€, cocktails 6€, cola 1.5€) and we loved kayaking & squid fishing (almost got 1!).

The ship was awesome! Clean, comfortable and spacious. We booked last minute and Helen, our concierge was exceptionally helpful, kind and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Everything, the rooms were beautiful, really well maintained, the view was amazing, something people don’t talk about is where on Ha long bay you are, we were in such a nice area with very little boats around us! They have a SkyView bar which is beautiful for sunset, the pool is a great touch, the food for lunch is great and dinner was amazing! Some options if you don’t like seafood also! Staff couldn’t do enough for you and would love to shout out Jack the Barman who stayed up extra late for us Irish lot😂 and Elise the staff manager who was amazing with us the whole time! So many activities that you can do if you like, we choose to just enjoy the boat as our room was so nice!

Breakfast at 7.30am for those who like a drink😂 but early lunch at 9.40am makes up for it so nothing really!

We had an amazing time on Rita Cruises! Alice was very helpful in assisting us to arrange our stay in advance, and also checking in with us during our stay to ensure we had everything we require. On board, the staff were welcoming, engaging and attentive. We particularly enjoyed speaking with Hung, who was professional and enthusiastic! The restaurant manager also went above and beyond to ensure that we could eat confidently with our dietary requirements, and the food was of exceptional quality! This made all the difference during our stay. We stayed for 2 night and 3 days. The activities were well organised and the perfect mix of relaxing and exciting! We enjoyed kayaking, swimming and particularity enjoyed our day trip to a small local village as well as jumping off the day boat! Jay was a fantastic local guide who was clearly passionate about Ha Long Bay and very knowledgeable. The facilities were clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We would definitely return to Rita Cruises!

Alex and Mr. Happy and the rest of the staff made this an amazing cruise. They are very hard working and do everything they can to make the cruise a great experience for each passenger. Alex really went above and beyond. The food was so delicious and over the top, way above expectations. Dinner was a 5 course meal and they made sure we didn’t leave hungry. We also had a beautiful flute performance. Rooms were beautiful, the ship is only 7 months old. The staff continuously mops the floor and wipes surfaces throughout the duration of the stay so it feels very clean. The hot tub and shower in our room was wonderful, and there was endless amounts of hot water.

There is a slight smell of sewer in the hallways of the rooms on the second floor. You can tell they try to compensate for it with a lot of fresh scent but you can still smell it slightly.
