Overall experience was amazing. Your staff was wonderful. I love the friendliness of the people that come to visit your hotel. The staff was very helpful in getting extra pillows and whatever we needed.

Our first night was very hot. But it was 90 something. It made me appreciate the fan and when I do have air conditioning. It's part of the charm of the place. I so appreciate the art and keeping the culture within the building. McMenamins is really a treasure. I love the experience. Thank you so much for doing what you do. And your products as a side note are amazing I love the wine and your beer and the whiskey!

My husband and I needed a place to stay on our last two nights on our Oregon road trip, where we could unwind from all of our adventures. This place exceeded our expectations! The property was beautiful, all of the staff were wonderful, the bedroom was comfy, the restaurants and hidden bars were great and let's not forget the main attraction; the SOAKING HOT POOL was fantastic!! I was a little hesitant prior to arriving, due to the shared bathrooms, something I haven't done since my twenties staying in hostles, but they were not an issue what so ever. They were at the end of the hall from our room and we're always clean and well taken care of. I actually never saw another person in them the whole time we were there. Would definitely recommend this place to any fellow travelers!

Wonderful stay at a very interesting property - The grounds are incredible, lots to see and do all around, plenty of food and drink options. I especially liked the fact that the rooms do not have TVs - makes for a more intimate stay on the property.

A bit damp and dingy at times, but that's kind of the appeal - The facility is an old building and they have done everything they can to maintain that older aesthetic - I think it works great considering that's what you sign up for!

Been the flag ship property it had a vast property with everything , bars , restaurants, theater , games room , 74 acre property, with a nice pool , only down fall is the elk to it , it’s accessibility is part of the adventure to the pool , but you will find it very relaxing and worth the walk

The front desk staff I found a bit on the rude aggressive side , wasn’t the best greeting when checking in , they came across as aggressive and not so friendly

Loved all the art work. Loved the comfort and invitation to gather. The grounds, garden and outbuildings are carefully restored and lend an historic ambiance. The spa was disappointing. For the price I expected an exceptional massage, and even though I explained where I needed deep tissue work, my maseusw just did her thing. The soaking pool was downright cold on October 30. Probably in the 80 degree range, instead of 103. Nets should be provided so that guests can remove slimy leaves and twigs from the soaking pool. It looked like black mold was growing on the sides and bottom of the pool. The salt water was lovely-- it needs to be warmer-- in the 100 to 104 degree range. Especially in cooler weather. Had to ask for robes for our room. Got 2 towels, but no hand towels, nor washcloths. The mattress was quite comfortable. I took a hot shower after my soak in the ladies lounge, and only then did I stop shivering. The baths down the hall are nicely remodeled. If I stay again, I probably will not use the spa. Loved, Loved the vegetarian options at power station pub. Had the Peanut Rice Bowl and flight of ales! Black Rabbit for breakfast was most enjoyable!

Soaking pool cols. NOT enough towels in room. Black Rabbit too expensive.

I didn't know you could get breakfast and I didn't know that it was included. I really did like the art work that was in the Hall ways on the walls.

I would of really liked a later check out. There wasn't enough time for me to do the things that I really wanted to do and see. Like Ruby's spa and iwNted to browse the gift shop. Didn't have enough time.

My favorite parts were the Edgefield distilled brandy- delish! The food at the black rabbit- also delish! and all the cute bars to be found onsite, as well, the soaking pool - amazing; all this helped alleviate some of the creepiness of the old building with all its energies & discordant spirits wandering around.

Staying in a haunted house.

The property was absolutely beautiful. There are several excellent restaurants on the property, many activities are available: pool, golf, soaking pool, etc. Our room was very nice, exceptionally clean, and a very comfortable bed. It is in close proximity to Multnomah Falls, Bridal Veil falls, and more. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

It wasn't an issue, but our room window was directly behind a public patio, so I might request a room with a bit more privacy next time.

Courteous, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful grounds, plenty to do, eat, drink and see at the Edgefield. Loved the soaking pool, the Black Rabbit Restaurant, and the Little Red Shed.

Our room was a bit small, but it did have a half bath. No elevators.
