Grounds of the hotel were beautiful . Every staff member was friendly and polite.

Cleanliness of our room was not up to standard. The electric jug cord was dirty and mouldy. Only one suitable electric power point. Bathroom outdated and nowhere to hang toiletry bags or clothes. The menus at the Italian restaurant were all torn and dirty which made you worry about the state of the kitchen where the food was being prepared .

the food was very over priced for the quality of it, unfortunately got one of the worst but most expensive mie gorengs that we had in three weeks in Indonesia. food and drinks took a really long time to be served even though we were one of 2 couples in the restaurant

Sea view bungalow was perfect - beach swimmable and restaurant/ drinks entertainment great. Was relatively quiet but I think a lot of outside people come in each day to boost numbers. Happy hour was great - and musicians too. Staff were great!

When relaxing on bean bags with drinks on beach sellers were still able to come and bother you. But in saying that they were not too pushy and were friendly and up for a chat if you wanted. You can see vendors are like Bali 15 years ago as is Lombok - people are poor and doing their best.

My hubby and I stayed at Merumutta for 11days, we had a very relaxing time, the staff were so friendly and helpful The housekeeping staff kept our room cleaned every day, the management are very professional helped me organise a surprise bday cake and sing happy bday for mhubby which was wonderful. Breakfast has more then enough to choose from, except less Indonesian and more Western foods would be great. The grounds are kept so clean, everyday . We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back, except this time we will catch ferry from Sengiggi just in front of the resort.

Breakfast staff need to be resetting tables when unoccupied, we had to ask for utensils and serviettes lots of times.

The staff were super friendly, always on hand with information and willing to help. The sunset bar is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a drink. The Ekakaya ferry terminal is right beside the resort so was perfect for us to get back to Bali.

The breakfast was average. Lots of variety but not a lot of flavour. We had a massive cockroach in our bathroom but probably not much you can do about that. Could do with some upgrades for a 5 star resort.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Food is excellent, location is great, but it's the staff that will make you want to return. Welcoming, helpful, and caring. Juni, at the Sunset Bar bought me an adapter on her day off because I'd forgotten to bring one. Ayudek at the coffee outlet brought me a special coffee her mother had ground because I'd mentioned it the day before. Everyone from the drivers to the trainees - Made at Sunset Bar - were exceptional.

Wish stay could have been longer.

Lovely hotel with amazing greenery. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable with outdoor shower, the service was on top and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had few issues with our room and it was sorted out immediately.Descent water pressure in a shower and good WiFi. In walking distance from restaurants and cafes

hotel is very outdated and needs renovation. As they say you can tell a lot about the hotel from the welcome drink, and it was something synthetic from under the table, not even bothered to give some fresh juice, that you get everywhere. Restaurants are overpriced and not suitable for vegetarians. We were also struggling with the breakfast as mostly all the food contains fish or meat. Vegetables and salads were not fresh. Beach is overcrowded with locals as it is located near the port and was full of local fishermen what makes it impossible to snorkel or swim. Besides this sales people are trying to sell something all the time.

We booked the sea-view room and the room location was fantastic, facing the sunrise. It was also nice to hear the calming waves in the morning, from the room balcony. The Italian restaurant was also a perfect place to have dinner during sunset, so you get both sunrise and sunset at this resort. Staffs were very friendly and helpful and the whole area is tranquil and serene.

The resort is popular with the locals having their birthday bash or family gatherings so from the rooms near the Italian restaurant, you can hear the loud music. This could be bothersome to those who sleep early. The solution is to ask for a room a little bit further away from the restaurant.

Great location in Senggigi, nice spot for sunset. We loved the room and the attention from the staff. Swimming pool is great and walking through the hotels garden was so pleasent with a beautiful floral decoration that just adds up to the experience.

Definitely not up to the 5 stars standards in Europe in terms of tidiness for the little details. We realized the prices for services like tours or transportation proposed by the hotel were much higher than the ones we can find right in the corner. I am expecting my 5 stars hotel not to make me pay a service more expensive than it is but on the contrary have the best offers for me

Lovely hotel with beautiful garden and pool area right on the beach. Sunset bar had lovely views. Nearby a lot of places to eat and couple of shops. Breakfast had variety. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable.

Just for information: If you will have room with no 107 or 108, those rooms are behind Basilico restaurant, so no direct sea view and the restaurant quests can see to the room balcony.
