Everything was very clean and comfortable. Room decorated nicely. Although I didn't use them, the kitchen was stocked with essentials; pots, pans, dishes, bowls, silverware, etc. Has a mini stove, fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker. Dish cloths/towels, and soap also provided. Bath towels, wash cloths, even make up remover packets! Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap also provided in neat dispensers. Only thing not there that I forgot, was a hair dryer. I'm sure they would have had one had I asked but I didn't. Keyless entry was nice also. Didn't have to worry about misplacing a key or keycard or accidentally leaving in the room.

Value for size & # of ppl it accommodated. Location was convenient, quick drive into town & to the kayak rental businesses. Clean & tidy & comfortable.

2 of the 3 lamps in the larger bedroom had broken switches or missing part so couldn't switch on table lights. The 3rd lamp worked, over head light worked, so it wasn't a big problem, just something they should probably address. Things are a little outdated & looks quite used. Not terrible, but an update would spruce it up a bit. (Window dressings, bead sets, bathroom shower curtain.) Also, a toilet brush/plunger set would be a better option than just a plunger. Ones in a little holder so it's not a dirty plunger on the floor. Again, it didn't bother us enough to complain, but would improve the atmosphere.

Facilities were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The updated bathroom was great. Contactless check-in made room entry easy. We didn't hear much road traffic, which was really nice. Several inviting outdoor areas for sitting and enjoying campfire.

Carpet in the room. High pile, shag style, which was a bit wet with humidity even though airconditioner was running. We kept our shoes on. I think a tile floor would be easier to keep clean and less musty smelling.

Woodland Motor Lodge is the perfect distance from our home in Dayton, OH en route to our destination in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan as well as the return trip home. This was our second year staying at this location and I will be making reservations there again in 2025. The rooms are perfect, the beds are comfortable. What more could anyone want?

After traveling all day all we wanted was to sleep. That isn't always possible when the neighbor has their television on. The walls are thin. I wish people would be more considerate.

It was extremely easy to get to, excellent location if you’re going to be near Hanson Hills or anywhere in that part of Michigan. Well, laid out, cute little common area outside, with grills it looked like.

Everything was good for my purposes. I’d suggest removing carpeting from rooms, it’s not really practical for an area that people visit for outdoor activities.

Reasonably quiet although could hear neighbors through wall but not bad. VG TV display. Comfortable beds and good, quiet heating unit. Unit 28 is well away from highway. Door code nice - eliminates key card. Heater in bath does good job (it was well below zero F the night we stayed).

Found nail in shag carpet. Shower water diverter didn't work well. Toilet refill after flush very noisy.

That there was a fire pit with wood and kindling. Also that there was a nice playground, pavilion, games, and other things that could be used. Obviously the bathtub had been replaced and the whole bathroom had be remodeled. The mini kitchen with stuff to make meals was unexpected and a nice touch. Also loved the fact that there was no need to check in or out of an office and that no key was necessary to enter the room

The room was a little small, but not bad. We were in room 16 and the drawers need work. There was either no guide or it needed to be fixed and a little bees wax to make them come out. The fire pit was in a hole and sloped around the edges. Making it really hard to arrange the wood and a bit uncomfortable to sit around. Raising it up and leveling the ground around it with maybe a few inches above the ground would make it easier to use especially for older folks that may have a harder time bending down.

Clean, convenient, spacious, secure. We never had to go to the office, everything was done through texting. We knew where to go, the code for our door, and who to call if we needed anything. We loved everything about the Woodland motel. Thank you for caring about the little things ;)

Everything I needed was there. It was clean and well equipped. I liked that a key code was used so I didn't need to go to the office to check in when it was late. An older classic motel that was nicely updated.

The toaster should not be under the smoke alarm or a note should be posted to move it away from the smoke detector before use.

Room had cooking facilities and had been recently updated. Nice location. Remote check-in.

There was a long power failure while I was there. Because they are on a well, the water was affected too. It was out in the whole area and was not the fault of the owners in any way, but no electricity and no water was very inconvenient.
