It was a nice resort, with golf course and pool. Grounds were nicely maintained. The lodge’s theme is nice, although everything is very outdated. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The resort is badly in need of updating, the rooms, the beds everywhere. I had booked ground floor and as seniors we really needed ground floor. The girl at the desk said it was only 3 steps, in reality it is 13 steep steps up to the floor where the rooms are. Air conditioning works only in the main bedroom not in the bathroom. It was 4th of July weekend so not much else is available.

The staff were great and I enjoyed the grill on site. Although I didn’t golf or swim the feature points of the resort are the pool and amazing course and grounds. The views are just BREATHTAKINGLY SPECTACULAR from every direction and not to be missed!!!

The shower was tight and the room wasn’t ‘updated’. It was comfy, clean and a good economical choice. Further from town than I thought so you have to enjoy seclusion, lots of walking and have your own transportation to go out

We came in after 8pm, we picked up the keys at the bar. Limited interaction with staff. Loved the building, with its red plaid carpet in hallways. Room was large and very clean. Made me feel like we were on the set of dirty dancing!

Wish we could have stayed longer! The grounds were lovely, the buildings, very Swiss like, with iron balconies and wood details. Unable to dine at any of the restaurants as we were back on the road early.

I thought I seen most of Gaylord, wrong. The view is worth the stay. Never in my dreams could I have expected how nice of a place I have drove by a100 times. What a hidden gem. The only flaw I saw was that they need new sidewalks. But I understand the new owners had there hands full restoring this place. Baby steps, I will never stay anywhere else when I need a room. Thanks.

Location was great, close to lots of things to do and outside activities.

No continental breakfast, and not many options for coffee without leaving the resort. On our last full day there, no housekeeping came

Broken curtain hanger, broken handle in dresser, valence frame over the bed fell down, luckily we weren’t underneath it! Hidden resort fees on final bill, bad batteries in tv remote

I enjoyed staying here. It is quaint, but not posh. Basic, but very clean. The staff was really friendly.

OK, the in room coffee was terrible. You're better off bringing what you like.

This property is not updated from the 80s but it's really comfortable. Loved the staff and the atmosphere. The room was comfortable and large

If it had a microwave in addition to a refrigerator that would have been great as the on site restaurants shut down at 4 that day

Staff super. Great location. Facilities a bit rundown. Tree branch scratching against the windowsill all night when the wind blew. I thought it was a chipmunks inside the room .window wouldn't open.

The breakfast and food is terrible and bring your own coffee. If you like to ski with no frills this place is great.
