This is a cute little motel located in a quiet neighborhood only a few blocks from shops and restaurants in downtown Boyne City. The room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and pillows, TV, refrigerator, microwave, and complimentary bottled water and a bag of popcorn. Check-in and out were both quick and easy and the staff was very friendly. Nice selection of snacks in the office in the morning.

Nothing major and nothing that would stop me from staying there again - the chairs in the room were fine for a few minutes but if you need to sit in them for any length of time they are not very comfortable. The pleated shade in the window is nice for blocking light, but a sheer curtain would be a nice addition for some natural light without being on full display while you're in the room. We had a massive downpour while I was out one day and it was impossible to get to my room when I returned without walking through about three inches of water because there are no gutters on the building.

The room was fitting for the trip I was on. Only a couple things I would change or do. The carpet leading into the room? Really needs to be cleaned. There is a track leading in to the room and to the left of the bed. I understand that people roll their luggage in so its bound to get dirty. I would keep up on that as best you can. The little rolled pillow and skirt on the bed? Not needed. Those probably get thrown to the side right away anyway like I did with it. The room was quiet of course but there werent many people staying there anyway. I slept like a baby on the mattress and that was just awesome! Thanks for the coffee to go. That was nice. I will come back. I loved the room and even though I had to drive to BMountain it wasnt that long of a ride. The walking to downtown was nice as well. Thanks for the accommodations. I really appreciate the room the cost and your hospitality.

Like I said above. Just get the carpets cleaned more often so there isnt a build up of dirt coming in the room and around the bed.

Everything was very clean and quiet, I could not hear any of my neighbors at all. Centrally located to all of the beach towns, it was a great stay!

This is very minor, but the website stated that each room has a DVD player, but none of the rooms have a DVD player. I didn't go there to watch movies, but we did bring some in case we wanted to watch them at night. No big deal!

Love this location! Close to everything and can walk to all the shops and restaurants.

We have stayed at the boyne city motel a few times and really like it. Affordable. I do think the carpet should be removed and replaced. We stayed in room 2, and it smelled pretty bad and you could tell the carpet is very old. Thank goodness for the candle we brought and a beautiful weekend so we could open the windows for fresh air. Overall, happy.

We love staying at Boyne Motel. It's convenient to the mountain for skiing and at the best price! We come every year for President's Day week and although it's a bit pricey overall, Boyne Motel is the best bang for your buck. We appreciate the free waters and complimentary snacks, room is always clean and stocked with toiletries, and it's SO easy to communicate with staff via their texting service. We'll be back next year! :)

It's a little pricey considering it's still a motel but we understand it's because of the weekend and extreme popularity of when we stay.

Great location, very quiet at night, bed was very comfy.

Dated room with wallpaper (?) peeling off bottom of wall near what appeared to be an old heat vent. Would’ve like to have a screen door along with regular door. Curtain was single curtain with no option for letting light in but still having privacy.

Very close to their main street. Great friendly hosts. The waters and the popcorn or a nice addition! Love that they had a continental breakfast very convenient! The rooms, while being very outdated, or clean and comfortable, and had plenty of storage.

Did not have the breakfast. Had heard room was clean but old but, we were nicely surprised. Very quaint and cute and very clean. Some work could be done on the shower faucet and maybe a handle for safety in the shower to hang onto. Loved the little refrig and the chairs outside. Beds were very comfortable. Overall a nice experience

Breakfast could have had more options, but it was fine nonetheless! There were bagels, banana breads, and a few roll varieties to choose from.

We could have used a bedside lamp. The one provided was not within arm’s reach from the bed. Wasn’t a huge inconvenience though.

Had to be the sweetest people I have ever met in my whole life definitely would stay every single time. I’m in Boyne City.

They were so accommodating they let me have a late check out due to an appointment. Just the sweetest people I’ve ever met.
