Breakfast was fine and the employees at the hotel were very nice and friendly. The hotel was neat and clean in most of the hotel. See my dislikes for more info.

The only negative aspect at the hotel was the cleanliness of the shower in our room. We believe we were seeing black mold on both inside and outside of the shower door. This is not unique to this hotel we have seen it in other hotel as well. We feel this is something that should never happen if proper training and materials are used. My wife also felt our room had an unpleasant aroma so that should be looked at. It could be that a previous guest spilled something on the carpet and never let anyone know of the issue.

The staff were absolutely top notch--friendly, helpful, accommodating. Complimentary breakfast was so much better than most hotels. Bottles of water were available throughout the day which was really nice. While outdated, the room was clean and spacious and met our needs for our one night stay.

While the stay was perfectly adequate and met needs for the one night we were there, this is an older property and it looks older. No issue with that, but just be aware it's not a luxury property. You just might find yourself paying a luxury price (due to lack of choice in the area) for an older property.

The hotel itself was good. We had a king bedroom with a separate living room/kitchen area. We had lots of space. Only stayed one night and breakfast was good.

Our toilet ran most of the time we were there. We only had one AC unit for the two rooms, so if we had closed the French doors between the rooms the living space would have gotten very warm! But most importantly I paid for a water view and had absolutely no view at all. Our room on the first floor looked out into a courtyard that was surrounded by bushes.

It is a fairly attractive place to stay. Not too far from the lake. Roomy elevator. The room itself was a little tight. Strange shape. Since we didn't have pets they changed our room to one with a view of lake. Walking distance to JAX restaurant.

Breakfast ended at 10 am. We were there just before 8 and there were no biscuits and gravy left. Asked at desk if there were more and they put more in but took quite awhile for the food to warm up. Coffee cups were all gone so had to ask for those also.

It was really nice. I could take the elevator or the stairs which there weren’t very many stairs. The Jacuzzi was awesome and not too hot. Usually they’re so hot I can’t stay in them. This was wonderful and the pool was not cold at all. It was nice. Breakfast was awesome very enjoyable love the waffle maker and the little premade bacon, egg cheese sandwiches the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. We will be going back again well worth the money which actually wasn’t very much.

While this hotel is older, it is well maintained and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good with the typical selection.

I thought the price was a little high, but I understand this is a seasonal community and they have to make the money during the peak season.

Little touches greatly appreciated like warm cookies, complimentary water, good breakfast, pleasant staff, cleanliness of the inn, easy check-in... Good location with two good restaurants nearby, avoiding the downtown congestion.

Our room was a bit small for 2 people but still a pleasant stay.

The views from my suite windows included Lake Charlevoix. The suite was spacious and the staff (particularly Grant) was friendly and helpful.

There were minor issues with the suite: screens were misshapen and had large holes so leaving the windows open instead of A/C wasn’t possible; there was no triangular privacy lock on the door; the bedroom door could not be closed at all.

The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown. Staff was pleasant, breakfast decent, plenty of towels, good hot shower, bed comfy with lots of cushy pillows, double queen room a little small, but over all the hotel is very clean and adequate.

The internet wasn't good, the room's TV could be a little larger however there are lots of channels to choose from. There was not a nice lounge area in lobby. Did not use pool/hot tub but it looked well kept.

Availability on short notice, parking convenience, room location close to lobby, comfortable bed, in a wonderful town.

The property has overgrowth and maintenance problems, the eavestroughs were full of plants and sagging, the hot tub screeched and rumbled, the pool and hot tub seemed to have unclean water
