EVERYTHING,I can't praise Terri and her staff enough. You truly are treated like family,not just a guest. I was staying here for the CHARLEVOIX MARATHON, Terri had a fantastic runners breakfast set up at 0500 with some of the best tasting coffee ever. I had the Lighthouse room,the bed was so very comfortable and the TV had an amazing number of channels available. The North Side is located a short walk from the hub of Charlevoix, which is a beautiful area. Terri is the best,I feel like she is a long time friend you are staying with. I have made my reservations for next June,as far as I'm concerned, this is the only place to stay while in Charlevoix. THANK YOU TERRI.

Absolutely nothing,everything was perfect. A person would have to search long and hard to find a fault.

Location was perfect! Close to downtown Charlevoix. At the edge of a lovely neighborhood with unique homes. Terri our host was super friendly and immediately made you feel like family. Nice long dining table with views of the neighborhood. Way too much food, fresh fruit, bagels, sausage, ham, quiche, french toast casserole! Come hungry to the table. Beautiful 130 yr old home with squeaky wood floors, beautiful molding with flower corners, lots of floor to ceiling windows. Wish I could have seen the garden in bloom. Extremely clean home. Comfy beds!

It is on the main road into Charlevoix, expect road noise. Didn't bother us.

Clean room with a comfortable bed. The staff was kind enough to offer me a refrigerator since I had booked a couple of weeks and the other rooms were vacant. To the OWNERS, AWESOME STAFF 5 STARS

I would have never booked and I know there was no refrigerator. To the owners in my opinion every room should have a refrigerator and a microwave.

Terri was very friendly and a great host

When I booked I had put that there were 2 adults and 3 children, and I booked a 2 room suite, unpon arrival Terri told me that I only booked for 2 audit. Also I try on Wednesday to cancel for our Saturday night stay and the gentleman I spoke with said they don’t do refunds I would have to use it at a later date both my husband and I were sick and I feel 3 day was more than enough days before to cancel

I loved how close the property was to downtown Charlevoix! Terry was great and very welcoming.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and there weren’t additional blankets for the chilly night. Also, I wish our room key could have also been a key into the house because the back door stayed unlocked all night. If there’s no one manning a front desk over night, I can see this being somewhat of a security issue.

Host was wonderful. Breakfast was outstanding, just what we were looking for (amongst other things a variety of fruit, yogurts, bagels, hardboiled eggs - very tasty & nutritious. ) King-sized Bed was excellent and room/bathroom very clean. Convenient parking. Excellent location.

Minifridge didn't run although it was cold when we arrived. May have had a sudden issue with power (breaker trip?). But this was a very minor issue.

Property was clean and the lady who worked there was very kind and approachable. You can tell she enjoyed her job and we above and beyond. Breakfast was wonderful and much more than expected.

Was close to a busy road, so it was a little noisy at night. House was also quite warm.

Breakfast was a huge perk of this economically friendly Inn. Well cooked, well prepared, and lots of privacy during your stay when you want it. The location is definitely better for early birds or people who go to bed early. Lots of attractions and restaurants close at 9.

The staff was great, the house was older than expected but very clean. Bed was comfortable & room temperature comfortable. Close to downtown Charlevoix & a few miles from Petoskey.

The first room assigned was small and almost claustrophobic. Appreciated the change in rooms.

The house was built in the 1800's and from the uneven floors to the original glass it's like stepping back in time with modern conveniences and comforts. The hostess/manager is a jewel and does an exceptional job of making her guests comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic.

A mirror in the second room of the Hemingway suite would have been nice, but was a very minor inconvenience. Can't think of anything we didn't like.
