The view from the patio area, especially at sunset, is absolutely stunning. I would sit there every night to watch the sun go down over the bay. The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant. There was no wait to get our key, and filling out the last of the paperwork was pretty easy. In the office is your coffee mug (ceramic) for the morning, along with the coffee filters and breakfast bars for a morning snack. There's no room specifically for a continental breakfast, but benches all throughout the outside of the Inn, as well as chairs and tables in the patio area. The place is very clean, as is the bedding. The towels are a nice size and thickness. The shower was nice and hot, and the air conditioning worked like a champ. (We had ours on nearly the entire time we were in the room). We were provided with a 1/2 bottle of shampoo, and a soap dispenser. We also had a blow dryer in the room, which was a nice touch. Love the mini fridge, the window off the bathroom sink area, the microwave, and the mini coffee maker, which we used for making tea.

The pillows were a bit flat for our liking, but we just doubled up.

We arrived after the office was closed, but they have such a situation under control. They called and left a message the room key was on the outside of the office door, and we could check in the following morning. Great solution. Also, there's a key drop-off box outside the office, so it's quick and easy to be on your way without even going into the office. Most importantly, the bed was very comfortable for a good night's sleep.

The bathroom door in room 206 doesn't latch closed. I minor issue but annoying none-the-less. The solution to fix it is simple, so there really isn't an excuse for it.

at my age used to office staff. Did connect with wifi, but my phone service is not in Mi, and glad i had my laptop to get emails from staff. I am sure they were at hand if i had a problem

Very welcoming and cute homey atmosphere! The owner, Vern, was very hospitable and helpful. Comfortable beds!

Would have liked a small table in room to eat on or play cards. The table near the front of the property had a chalky white substance so we had to cover with our own towels to sit at and play games.

Large room close to town but not right in the busy area close to Charlevoix because we were there to visit some friends beautiful view of the bay

I should’ve asked for a handicap room but that was my fault the bathroom left a lot to be desired for an 88-year-old who has a little arthritic problems

Friendly place, with a beautiful view. The hotel is older, but that is part of the charm. Actual keys to unlock the door. Not a busy hotel. Quiet peaceful. Clean. A little patio to look out at the water. Definitely at little gem in Petoskey.

The room was very clean and had all the necessities. Also frig and microwave, small coffeemaker, large mirror, love seat size sofa and chair.

Could have used larger/fluffier pillows; dated decor; not really breakfast - a snack.

This is an older motel but well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had good pressure. Breakfast was minimal..coffee and granola bars but we knew that in advance so no issues. The location was perfect for our couple of days in the area. Check in was a breeze.

We could hear the people above us but I don't believe this has anything to do with the facility itself. They were heavy footed!

Great view of the bay, sunset to the side of the view. Convenient location. Airflow in the rooms from windows in front and back of room, didn't even need to use the AC. Groovy retro color scheme and fixtures. Nice sized fridge in room, and a microwave.

Lots of traffic noise from high speed busy road out front, no breakfast included or other restaurant within walking distance but they did give us granola bars and coffee mugs to use in our room. Bring your own conditioner.

The location near the bike trail was great! Great location for zooming around Petoskey as well. The owners were very friendly and thoughtful. The unit was outstandingly clean.
