The front porch was so inviting to visit and to watch the world go by while waiting for Family members to arrive in Charlevoix. Our bed was so comfy and the Breakfasts were SUPERB! Chef Steffan made dishes to accommodate our dietary needs. I especially loved the fresh blueberry Artisan bread and curried sweet potatoes & greens with 4 eggs nestled on the top. Delicious. He made another with bacon for the another couple. Plus Steffan made sure there were water bottles, snacks & fruit on the entry table. 12 ⭐️

The location is excellent as it is in walking distance of downtown Charlevoix. The host was very friendly and helpful during my stay. He prepared a wonderful breakfast and even took the time to make something just for me to accomodate my dietary restriction. The house is a beautiful, classic old house that has a large and beautiful front porch. My room was large and comfortable. I will definately stay there again, next time I'm in Charlevoix.

Stefan was an exceptional host who welcomed us warmly. to this charming home which was perfect to accommodate all nine of us who met up there. Parking was provided and lots of restaurant options were available within an easy walk so we could just leave our cars there.

If stairs are a problem for you, make sure to say so as most rooms are up one flight, ours was up two. This wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for some.

The best location in Charlevoix, within walking distance to downtown, room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We could even see the lake from our room!

Suggestions for the owner: 3 bath towels would be nice, a mirror in the main space would be nice and a garbage can in the main space would be nice...we were in town for a wedding and I had to go to my car to do my makeup while my hubby was showering because the bathroom mirror was fogged up. Also, breakfast could be displayed in a way that makes it more appealing, we didnt try breakfast because the only thing we saw that was hot was a hot plate with a scrambled egg concoction and a hot plate with gravy. There was bread and bagels on the table and cereal boxes on a shelf that was kinda hidden by the table. I didn't peek in the fridge and didn't notice what beverages were available.

The breakfast was ok. Very casual. Our first morning, coffee was ready, but we helped ourselves to yogurt in refrigerator, bagels and english muffins, cereals, peanut butter, nutella and homemade baked apple/biscuit casserole. and fresh bananas, apples, and melon The second morning, in addition to above there was scrambled eggs and sausage and fresh berries. Not gourmet food, but nourishing.

The location was perfect. The breakfast absolutely delicious. Steffan is an amazing host. He makes the whole stay that one step up. Also has free parking. Really a great value.

The shower in the cottage room is super small. However each room does have its own private bathroom.

The innkeeper was so friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and they have many snacks in the kitchen, and breakfast in the morning. It's homey and close to downtown so you can walk if you want.

It was the second time I stayed here, and since the last time a few years ago they took the claw foot tub out of the bedroom I like, as well as painted it white instead of pink. It was still comfortable but I enjoy feeling like I'm at a grandmother's house when staying at a bed and breakfasts, and because of the pictures thought it would still be the same. So slightly let down by no tub soak, but otherwise still a great place to stay.

The location was great. I was able to walk around many of the sites near the lake. The house was well maintained. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The host, Liz was personable and kind. Breakfast was good.

It’s spring and the floors were cold at night and in the morning. The floors were also a bit creaky, which is not unexpected in an older home.

Easy to find and close walking distance to downtown. Steffan was very hospitable and welcoming, and made a fabulous breakfast! We spent over an hour chatting with the other guests over breakfast.

Bathroom was a little small but it was only one night so it was fine.

Close to Marathon race site

Room wasn’t as described on “Booking.com” so we packed into 1 small unit, but management made it right the second night.
