We love the location as it is within walking distance of downtown businesses, local restaurants, bars and shops. There is a restaurant right next door and a fun Irish pub.

The bathroom tub had hair in it and there was a washcloth hanging on the shower rod. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty. We have been here several times when we come up here as we like the location, within walking distance of local restaurants and bars and a good value.

Room 48, ground floor, parking at door, was obviously updated and was fitted out with all amenities you would expect at a 5 star, so a very nice surprise at this motel. Great mattresses were on metal pedestals, sheet metal tops made for some interesting noise. Unusually high counter top in washroom anteroom, maybe for accessibility or maybe room for laundry machines? Heater unit very good. Snowed heavy day of arrival and no sign of removal efforts overnight, 10 inches. Value for money was awesome.

What's not to like.

This place really is clean, as advertised. No odors or issues of any kind. The room stayed warm. Excellent location for nearby Treetops ski resort and downtown Gaylord. The owner Peter is very friendly and accommodating. He gave us an extra nice room.

Location was great. We were there in January so didn't walk around, but were very close to some great eateries!

They only issue I had was with the bed and pillows. I am 65 so I am at that point in life where I need a specific mattress and pillow to avoid neck and back pain. Next time I would bring my own pillow, but for those of you under 50, I suspect you will be just fine. :)

Everything for a change was clean

No bags in the room for ice, when inquired at the front desk they told me ice machine was by them come up and get a bag where they are and they gave me the bag and left but there was no ice in the machine? It never did have any including the next day

The location is convenient; rooms are clean; the price is reasonable.

Check-in was very efficient but a bit impersonal.

I enjoy the clean, spacious rooms and honestly very convenient to downtown - microwave - refrigerator - iron - it has everything you need for overnight or a few days stay.

It doesn't have a pool but then the price reflects that.

The room was very clean. Staff was friendly- check in went smoothly. The beds were comfortable. Loved the small fridge/ freezer.

The sink shelf was very high- I am 5ft 9vand had trouble leaning over sink to brush teeth.

It was quiet at night. Comfortable bed. Large tv. Good location. All the essentials were provided…Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Blowdryer, iron and ironing board. Lots of parking.

I didn’t see an alarm clock in the room but it may have just been in the drawer by the bed. I brought my own so it was okay.

For the price it was as expected

It is just old and needs updating but the beds were comfortable and the room was as clean as it could be, shower had good presssure and was hot.
