The location is fantastic, close to all major sights, but out of the way enough to be quiet and peaceful. The breakfasts are fantastic - please don't leave without trying the Greek eggs! We hadn't anticipated that the drinks in the minibar were included in the price which was a really lovely touch. But perhaps the best of this hotel is Elly herself, who couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, able to provide recommendations and taxi bookings and even leaving us food options in the fridge when we were up and out too early to breakfast at the hotel. If we were to visit Rhodes again, we wouldn't wish to stay anywhere else.

As our room looked out onto the courtyard, I think some heavier blinds would have been preferred to feel a little less exposed when others were having breakfast, but this is a very minor quibble!

Breakfast was exceptional. Great shower (excellent water pressure and sprays (dual head sprays). Courtyard/common area was very nice, quiet, relaxing. Nice that room mini bar was stocked and complementary. Pick up arrangements at airport went exceptionally well (nice Mercedes Benz).

Did not like the large amount of rock/peddle walkways, speeding scoters down narrows passageways (some drivers on cell phones or texting while passing us). Hazardous? We had difficulty following map directions (got some bad directions from local shop vendor). Luggage delivery to hotel is accomplished by hotel staff, flat cart and scooter (over rough walkway). If either the cart, scooter or operator are not available, you pull the luggage yourself. Over the rock/cobblestones.

Ellique is perfection. Even before we arrived, Elly - our host - made us feel welcome. We were fully informed about the quirks of the Old Town regarding access and parking. When we walked in the gate to be greeted by Elly in the beautiful courtyard we felt at home. Elly has put so much thought into every little element to make you feel comfortable and the rooms are beautifully appointed. The attention to detail is incredible. Elly made every effort to accommodate us providing great information on activities, places to see and restaurants. Highly recommend Rhodes Cooking Class. We loved our stay in Rhodes.

Not a single thing!

We had a great stay with Elly! She is a consummate host. Friendly, helpful and gave good local tips too! The room (and bed!) was huge and there were so many thoughtful touches. It was clean and air conditioned at all times. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with local bakery goodies everyday. The location is perfect - in the old town but away from the main streets. We would love to return.

Not much at all! The shower was more of a wet room. I’m sure Elly is aware as she left 2 bath mats each day :) Not a problem for us just something to be aware of. There were a few mosquitoes around when we visited Rhodes - plugs ins provided in the room though by Elly!

My partner and I have been lucky enough to have traveled a lot over the years and we find it hard to think of anywhere that matches the level of Hotel Ellique. The attention to detail is without fault; the room was a good size, stylish and well equipped. Elly the host instantly makes you feel at home with her warm and friendly manner. She is a wealth of information with terrific restaurant tips and is always eager to help, making your stay as relaxed and enjoyable as she can. We will be back!

Staying here is more than just renting a room; It's like having your own personal concierge and relaxing escape while touring this beautiful area. Upon arrival, we appreciated assistance with our luggage at the gate as well as the personal welcome and info/recommendations given. The location of the hotel is close enough to walk to shopping, restaurants and attractions of Rhodes Town and the harbor yet enough off the beaten path to be peaceful. Our room and the courtyard was perfect with so many lovely details. We enjoyed the delicious, freshly-made breakfast served, and the complimentary mini bar in our room was also nice. Arrangement of our transfer to the airport was appreciated as well.

No complaints. We were just sad that we had to leave before breakfast on our last day.

I can’t think of anything we DIDN’T like! We loved our room, the beautiful courtyard where we ate our delicious breakfast, and the quiet of the location, but so close to everything. Elly is the most wonderful host! So friendly and accommodating, offering great suggestions for all kinds of places to visit, restaurants, and just general info and history of the Old Town and Rhodes in general. We would absolutely come back here! This is the place to stay…

Nothing!

Excellent greek breakfast, fresh fruit, selection of breads and jams, eggs, yoghurt and honey, orange juice, rea or coffee. Location in the old town, small hotel with only four rooms, all large with seating area. Nice courtyard with tables and chairs. Many restaurants nearby.

As with everywhere in the old town, no cars and difficult to find places. We discovered that by turning left from the hotel, then left again you eventually come to the main street.

Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of freshly chopped various fresh local fruits, freshly baked breads and delicious spinach slices, pastries and great coffee. Ellie’s friendly, informative information was a great help, and the breakfast court yard was so quiet and peaceful for a magical start to the day. Thank you so much for you kind friendship. 👍💞

Hotel Ellique is amazing. Ellie, who is the owner is a lovely person and she designed and decorated every element of the hotel with a unique taste & quality. I am so glad we decided to stay there for our honeymoon vacation in Rhodes. She has been very welcoming to us, and extremely helpful every step of the way. She picked us up from the outer gates of the town and carried our luggages all the way to the hotel with her scooter motor, which would have been otherwise a very challenging walk for us on the medieval cobblestones of the town. She then provided us with useful tips and very nice suggestions about where to visit, and eat. We found her recommendations really good! The details of every room, the patio, floor have a story behind and are very beautiful. She did an amazing job staying true to the historical & architectural fabric of the old town. We were served a very tasty breakfast every morning and Ellie remembered all our wishes from the previous day :) It was such a friendly and warm atmosphere during the breakfast, as we got the chance to chat with her and also with her lovely friends. The hotel is situated like a relaxing oasis in the middle of old town, with the perfect walking distance to all interesting sites. It has been perfect, cannot recommend it enough!
