Le Clos Marguerite is such a gem! If you want to experience a warm and inviting place, look no further than this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Manon and Michel have beautifully renovated this old house into a piece of art. The attention to detail is inspiring. They are so friendly, kind, hospitable and make such an effort to create a home away from home. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was perfect and we slept so well! Breakfast is customized to what you would like specifically and the table is set up in such an inviting way down in the beautiful dining room. We were celebrating our 15th anniversary and this place was perfect for it! Ammerschwir is a darling village and less touristy than most other Alsacian villages...so it's nice and quiet and not overrun with a bunch of tourists. Los Clos Marguerite is within walking distance of the Michelin-star Restaurant Julien Binz. It was great to have a wonderful meal, drink a bunch of wine, and then just walk back to the B&B and relax comfortably in our room. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back again!

Delightful, charming guesthouse. Loved the wonderful and helpful hosts, beautiful decor, and location so close to other darling wine towns. Quiet little walkable village with bakery, banks, wine tastings, restaurants…even an original town tower with a stork nest on top. A++++ Amazing! Merci beaucoup! Xo

The property is in a beautiful village in the heart of the vineyards. We were warmly welcomed and Mamon was extremely helpful in suggesting places to visit locally. It is an interesting property renovated to a very high standard. The breakfast was good, especially the home made granola and the bread was delicious. We enjoyed evening walks exploring the village.

Some cookies with the tea or coffee available would have been nice as would a fresh fruit option at breakfast.

Loren and I had a fantastic stay at Le Clos Marguerite in the darling village of Ammershchwir. This B&B is beautifully maintained and decorated in exquisite French Provincial fixtures, and most important of all, it is well loved😍. Our accommodations were comfortable our time restful. The breakfast was devine! Our hosts were welcoming and helpful; we are looking forward to our next visit to the Alsace Region and plan to stay at Le Clos Marguerite in the future 😊.

Nothing about the stay! We didn't have a car so the location was sometimes difficult to get back from the nearby towns (during the christmas market season) as there are limited taxis/ubers.

Manon did a really amazing job! Le Clos Marguerite is a really individual location. Manon designed the complete house on her own and really looked for each detail. We enjoyed to be guest and every morning Manon prepared a delicious breakfast with all you need. Don't miss to stay here if you have the possibility for your visit in Ammerschwihr and all the cute villages around.

This historic home has been beautifully restored and furnished with so much attention to fine details. Manon serves a delicious and fresh breakfast in the morning with home made jams and local cheeses and meats. She is also a great help with information about local restaurants.
