Location was wonderful. It was a short walk to the beach. Hotel was extremely pet friendly. I would rate the breakfast better than most hotel breakfasts. While we didn't use the indoor pool, it looked very nice. We stayed in a pet room on the first floor so there was no carpet which suited us just fine. Room was large with mini fridge and microwave. There was a nice grassy area outside the room accessible via a sliding glass door that served as a great dog area. It was complete with a dog waste can and plastic dog poo pick up bags. Room was very clean. No pet smell.

Sliding glass door in our room was difficult to open and close. Needs a little TLC. Other than that, can't think of anything else that would have made it better for our situation.

I wish there was AC in the rooms. The room got a little too warm.

The pool was nice, the observatory on the top floor was really cool to check out. The room was more spacious than I thought it would be. The chairs to the dining room were cozy and the partial view of the ocean was actually pretty decent from our room. Loved looking at the ocean. The location also was pretty close to everything in town.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I had trouble sleeping for more than 5-6 hours. Also the blanket on top was pretty scratchy, the second night I realized that I can just remove that and keep the down comforter on instead. Also the sheets were not as soft as I would like too. The first night the lady that checked us in wasn’t as friendly (in her defense she was dealing with an upset customer when we got there, but my husband tried to ask her how her day was going and she completely ignored him.) There was a guy there when we checked out that was very nice and helpful. Outside of that we had a good experience.

We love the location of this hotel, its cleanliness and room comfort. We were on the fourth floor in a full ocean view room and it was wonderful.

The hotel was extremely busy while we were there ... breakfast on both days was less than expected. We were told there would be a full hot breakfast - first day we waited quite a while before more egg omelettes arrived ... the second day we came in for breakfast earlier and they were already out of eggs - we could only have waffles and some sausages. Wifi in our room on the fourth floor was very spotty and mostly not there.

We had a family gathering and had five separate rooms between us. All the rooms had amazing but different views. The beds were comfy. This hotel sits the closest to the ocean of any of the hotels in Ocean shores and has an approach to the beach right outside of the driveway.

The bathtub plug was dissolved in a way making it impossible to plug the tub all the way. The door knob for the observation deck on the outside of the door was corroded and Rusty so that you could see the inside of the door knob. The breakfast although Hardy was fine but the bacon kept running out so quickly that there was no chance of most people getting any. The line at the waffle maker was definitely a deterrent. The juice dispenser seemed to be out of the juice syrup because both apple and orange juice tasted very watery and bitter.

Great view, closest property to the beach at Ocean Shores. Farthest property to the north, so less busy. Nice complimentary breakfast, too. Checked in 4pm, room smelled fresh. Left & Returned 3 hours later to a strong perfume smell. Staff worked diligently to determine its cause & source, relocated & upgraded us because of it. No one had entered our room - nothing disturbed, no windows open. Best working theory is that since this had an adjoining room, that other room’s guest overdosed on perfume (my grandmother did this also, I understand the likelihood). Bottom line, they can’t control the cause. But they owned the situation & made it right. They moved & upgraded us, apologized, & alerted the morning manager who also apologized.

LI went through some rough times after buying it from Best Western. The place looks the best it's been in a long while. The front desk did everything possible to assure guests had a great experience. The location is amazing - on a road direct to the beach. We always get a room with a full ocean view - totally worth the money.

Bad bad internet. One employee blamed it on Ocean Shores availability. Doubtful. Fortunately we were able to connect our laptops by creating a hotspot on our phones. Too bad the front desk didn't do that when they were having issues.

Breakfast great! Could use more fresh fruit but the amount, quality and variety was nice. Hotel bed and bedding was great, room was clean. Quick walk to the ocean. Pool was clean!

Total disappointment that the couch was not a pull out sofa. and It was a horrible couch. Also really disappointed that the hot tub was out of order and apparently has been for at least a month since I got the "out of order" message when I initially booked the room. Would have been nice to have some info in our room about restaurants, things to do.

The location is conveniently located near the beach. Couple minutes drive to activities like go cart, bike rentals and casino. The room is very spacious and you get a free nice breakfast. There’s dry sauna too.

The swimming pool can get crowded as it was small during peak hours. We were on the highest floor (4th floor) and when our neighbor room came late at night, I can hear the squeaky floor in our room while they were walking. I can’t imagine if the room below us can hear our footsteps especially we have a jet spa tub which we tried to use an hour early before 10pm. We try to be mindful as we could.

The manager Tammy was super friendly and got us the only pet friendly room with a view of the ocean! It was so convenient to drive right out on the beach and the sliding back door made it easy to let our dog out. It was also remarkably quiet for a pet friendly hotel. They had a decent breakfast, and when they found out I was gluten free, made sure to have gluten free waffle batter as well. Really unexpected in a small town.

Everything was really great, but if they wanted to up their breakfast game for us Celiacs, I would recommend a dedicated waffle iron for the gluten free batter in order to avoid cross-contamination.
