It was so close to the Chiba monorail - so easily accessible. It takes about 45-55 mins to get to Tokyo station. The area had a great vibe. The hotel, while slightly older, was extremely well cared for and had an awesome art deco style. The beds were comfortable and was a haven after a busy day of being a tourist. The bathroom was well appointed. I travel with a Google Chrome so i can cast to the TV in hotel rooms. This was easily done. The included breakfast buffet had a variety of selections - suitable for my vegetarian dietary requirements. The staff were amazing and very kind. As a solo traveller, this is very important to me. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Chiba.

Hotel is nice. Has a really nice view of the monorail and the city skyline from our room at 13th floor. Room is really big and comfortable. Service is great and would even open elevator for you when they see you at the lobby going to use the elevator. Also makes the room and cleans it well.

A little dated however still works. Some musty smell in the hallway and as soon as you enter the doors. Would be better with an updated bathroom, shower and bath is so old and sink too have cracks.

Great breakfast with lots of choices. I also like the location. it is a short walk to Chiba Station and there are a lot of restaurant choices close by. Plus the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The only negative I could find is the bed could use an update. I was at this hotel on 3 different occasions during this trip and I had 3 different rooms and all the beds were the same. They was ok but after staying at a number of other hotels in Japan, I realized that the beds at this hotel could be updated.

The staff are friendly, the breakfast is great and the location is perfect for me. The value is very good for the price charged for this hotel.

The beds need to be updated. They are not bad but they could be a lot better. In between stays at this hotel, I was out of town in a new hotel and I really noticed the difference when I returned.

Decent big hotel. Great service, make customer feel quite comfortable. Super clean room with everything I need. Great city view from higher floor. Located near the center of Chiba, walking distance to everywhere in town.

A little bit small room size just like most Japanese hotels.

I like we can pick up amenities which we only need, and not disposable slippers are good idea! One more things, we can extend the few hours with reasonable price, if the room is available.

Great breakfast. Very good location for me. very friendly and helpful staff. I use this hotel for my home base while travelling in Japan. I, look forward to returning next year.

They need to upgrade their beds. They are okay but after staying in some other hotels I could tell they are getting old.

Facilities are good quality. The hotel has a 'classical' feel, without feeling old. The washoku restaurant for dinner is very good. Overall, well above 3-stars.

Some facilities are restricted by time. The lounge and cafe are not great for a 4-star hotel. Cake is only served at weekends, for example. There is no room service, which is also questionable for a 4-star hotel.

Stayed here for the Summer Sonic. It was close to Chiba station in a walking distance. There were restaurants and combini nearby. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. I had stayed here a few years ago, and will come back to stay here again.
