Excellent food available at the cafe where you check in ( not really anywhere else to eat close by). Small, older rooms being updated, but comfortable. Americans note: no elevator - all rooms upstairs; staff carried suitcases up. Very helpful understanding staff. Locals hang out here too. Great coffee, fresh pizza, yummy pastries. Small communal kitchen to use upstairs. Not far from airport; close to the fabulous archeological site.

Not easy to get to by public transport (dangerous walk from nearest bus stop). Potholes in residential roads all around. Not your "American" hotel - but a gem in a quiet area.

The room size was good, the bed comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and shower was ok. The cafe/shop downstairs was brilliant, fantastic food and friendly helpfull service.

You could hear the couple in the next room using the bathroom. The level of cleanliness left a lot to be desired, on the surface it looked clean, but we took of our shoes off in preparation for bed, and ended up with filthy black feet. The bathroom hasn't had a good clean for a long time, the soap dispenser was dirty, the walls were splashed with urine near the toilet.

I'd return here anytime. The host and all their staff are more than welcoming and ready to help with anything. The breakfast was delicious, also. Room and beds were comfortable and clean. I didn't know we wouldn't have an equipped kitchen to cook for ourselves, but the staff was doing their best to please and satisfy any demand (my brother was craving some boiled eggs and they were nice enough to boil them for him). All in all, a very pleasant experience, thank you for making our stay enjoyable!

Every person working there was so friendly and helpful! They were very easy to communicate with before we arrived and so accommodating while we were there. The room was big, the AC worked very well, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we ate at the cafe for dinner as well and really enjoyed it. Definitely planning to stay again in the future!

It’s off the beaten path, which is fine after a week in Rome. They are super nice and accommodating….they drove us to the ruins one day, and then provided an airport shuttle for a reasonable cost. They don’t do daily housekeeping so just ask for fresh towels if you need them. The included Breakfast is basically anything you want to order downstairs, not a typical included breakfast, but equally fine. We enjoyed the family run vibe.

It is attached to their restaurant and our room overlooked their back prep area with the garbage, so we couldn’t really open up the slider due to garbage and smoking.

Very friendly and helpful. Made sure we settled in well. The bar and restaurant do not look like much, thought it was more of a quick stop, but the food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere in the patio was nice. The staff were attentive and gave good suggestions for food and drink. My daughter who did not like Rome much said this stay made her excited about visiting Italy again.

Do some research on the town first. It is out of the way and unique.

Group of 8 of us travelling, we had 5 rooms between us all on one floor together which was really great. Rooms were all a good size with en suites. Access into the property was easy, with parking easily found on the road. Very clean, bedding changed every day which we were not expecting. Great location for exploring the local area if you have a car, good base to go view Ostia Antica archaeological site. Cafe below was very good, coffee was delicious.

I recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast in Ostia Antica and it was absolutely delightful. The location was convenient, with easy access to the city center and the train station via regular local buses. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering a warm welcome with a cup of espresso and assisting with my bags. The breakfast consisted of a delicious croissant that was a perfect start to the day. The B&B had convenient amenities like a mini shop, and 24/7 snack vending machine. The cleanliness and quiet atmosphere added to the overall comfort of my stay. Highly recommended!

Very nice B&B. The owners really go the extra mile to please the guest and make the stay as nice as possible (they’ll even bring the pizza ordered in the restaurant they own next to the B&B to the room!) All the furniture and sheets etc. seemed completely new. The room was very tidy. Really excellent

The only issue I had was the location. Or, rather, the fact that I wasn’t able to find a public transport to get to the hotel (I arrived on a Sunday evening), and had to call a taxi. The driver was very nice and charged me 3 euros less than what was shown in the taxi meter, but still, 35€ for a 10 mins ride seem over the top (there’s no fixed price, like there is when driving to Roma or Ostia Lido, and just the flag down was some 21€). To get to the Ostia antics metro are station you need to either drive or take a bus. There is no sidewalk so no possibility to walk

The room was spacious and comfortable. The check-in in the pizza shop was easy. The location was fine. It was an easy walk to a bus stop and the bus goes directly to the train station and to the archeological park. I ate supper at the pizza shop and the pizza was excellent. The pastry and cappuccino I had there for breakfast were also excellent.

I have one small complaint and that is that when I left my room to go to breakfast I found that to get from the part of the building my room was in to the part where breakfast was (pizza shop) there was a locked gate that I had no way to open from the inside. The key card they had given me to enter only worked on the other side of the gate. So I had to shout at a customer coming to the pizza shop to get someone to let me out.
