The location was wonderful. Right in the middle of the Gothic Quarters and easy access to Las Ramblas and walkable to the beach. Beware that if you have some mobility issues the cab does not stop right in front of the hotel but is a short walk. Food was wonderful. Many choices for breakfast. The French Toast is a must. And for dinner I had the lamb shank two nights in a row and my husband said the Sea Bass was the best he ever had. Our room was small but comfortable, the bathroom is modern. My only complaint is the room is very dark. I wish they had brighter interior lights. The mood is very calming and was a nice respite after 12 days on a ship with 3000 people. The staff was outstanding and very helpful.

I didn't think the room size was commensurate with the nightly cost, you are probably paying for location. Room is too dark.

The staff and hotel bed were the stars. The staff could not do enough to help me. The bedroom was wonderfully quiet and you could make it completely dark. The sheets and mattress were heavenly. Go to this hotel if you need a good sleep! You would never know that you are in the Born district. The restaurant food is also worth going to this hotel, absolutely delicious!

Immediately outside the hotel is a let down. Garbage bags on the corner, dog poo in the nearby alley. Also the graffiti on the wall outside the front lobby is not attractive. However, once you are in the hotel, it is delightful. Finally, I would say the wine was not on par with the restaurant food. I know they wanted to go with organic but Spain has some of the best wines in the world and I think they should skip the organic wine and go for the superb Spanish wines. All that said, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I liked the decor of the room and the layout. It was roomy and felt cozy at the same time. The bathroom was amazing! Front desk gave great food recommendations. We had forgotten some clothing at check out, but the staff kept it safe for us to pick up later. The delicious chocolates in our room were a great touch! I went to the local candy shop and bought some to share with family and friends.

The lighting was quite dim for us, but the staff provided more lighting. I agree that the dim lighting did add to the ambience of the room.

Location is prime, it has a nice rooftop sun deck, tho no bar there, however they will bring drinks up there if you order them. Also what’s nice it that no random people would end up there and only hotel guests. It’s a small hotel so not very many people there. No kids was perfect, nice and calm vacation. Breakfast is a la carte, i had booked my hotel with it and if you wish to eat at your room then no extra charge will be added. Mini bar is complimentary, however it has one large glass bottle of water, two bottles of local beer and two mini bottles of gin also tonic. They also put fresh lemon and like there plus bucket full of ice every day. I would have liked to have some soft drinks as well like Coke or similar, but it wasn’t hard to buy them from local convenient stores. I would point out that their rooms are very dark and not much light in there even during daylight. So that was disappointing for me.

Im not a huge fan of a la carte breakfast and would prefer buffet more. Although they will prepare and cook everything for you as you wish

Property was clean, staff professional. Stayed for 10 days. Not a single complaint. Would trust this group again for any length of time. Had a phenomenal trip and stay.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel nestled in the winding streets of the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona. The bedroom was small but well equipped and cleverly laid out, decorated to emphasise comfort and luxury. We particularly liked the lighting, which was soft and moody. We also appreciated the heavy glassware, fresh flowers and complimentary gin, tonic and snacks. The bed was very comfortable and house-keeping each day was excellent. There is a lovely roof top terrace, and a relaxed bar and lounge where we enjoyed a drink one evening. The staff were fantastic. Very pleasant and accommodating, they made us feel at home. We loved our stay at this hotel.

There is nothing we did not like. The only minor thing that comes to mind was the offer of breakfast at 33euro per person which we felt was a little high, particularly when there are fantastic breakfast and brunch spots close by.

Staff were excellent. Breakfast was superb and location was perfect.

The room had very low lighting and was dark and difficult to read and see things. I used the torch on my phone. The shower flooded the bathroom within minutes every time it was used. The was not the first time as the bathroom door did not close. It was too slow to drain. Our room was small.

The staff is super helpful and welcoming, all mini bar items are gratis and you can have as much bottled water as you want which is amazing in Europe! They brought me fresh milk for my coffee and bottled water every morning. The bathrooms are super nice, air conditioning is fantastic and the restaurant is truly an experience. It is tucked back in a little alley in the Gothic Quarter which gives you amazing historic vibes.

The Hotel is beautifuly put together. Small and chic but not crowded or busy in any way. I visited from Sunday to Wednesday so I suspect the hotel was even quieter than usual. The location is at the end of an alley in the Gothic Quarter, but even late into the evening the area is busy and well lit. The Hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway, and about 10 minutes from the beach. Every hotel employee was pleasant and helpful, the room was immaculate and no detail overlooked. The blackout windows in the rooms are perfect and the bed was as good as I have ever slept in at a hotel. The rooftop is perfectly perched above the surrounding rooftops, and even though the plunge pool is not for swimming, it is a great place to spend a couple hours for a siesta or cocktail late in the afternoon.

At first I found it a bit odd that you leave the key with the front desk when you leave the hotel, though the hotel name and room number is on the key. However there was someone at the front desk 24/7 to greet me, they also always knew me by name wether or not I had met them. Love the attention to detail to make their guests feel welcome and attended to at all times.

Brilliant location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. The hotel is tucked away down one of the little side streets but close to the hustle and bustle with restaurants, bars and shops all nearby. From check in to check out every single member of staff was friendly, charming and couldn't do enough for us. In particular a big shout out to the bar tender who made the best G&T on the planet and also the breakfast was probably one of the best we've ever had - all cooked to order with a huge selection which included home made yoghurt, breads, fruit salad and even puddings! Would come back in a heart beat to both the Wittmore and Barcelona.
