Well,you get more than you paid for.I read the reviews before making a booking and all previous complaints have been solved the way I see it.There is a working microwave,kettle,shower right in your room.For the amount charged I can't expect to get Netflix but it's there because there was a remote provided to watch that.I don't know why would you leave your own house to go watch Netflix at someone's house.In this hard economy the price for the room is beyond fair.There is both coffee and tea in the room.The fridge is working and clean.Spiritually the place is okay and will book there again.Finally,I don't know why would you pay R500 and expect the 5 ⭐ treatment.I have not been bribed to write this take it as it is and book the place.

The fact that Andrea was so accommodating. My flight landed early and I called to find out if I could check in early and she advised me I cannot as current guest has not left yet. But welcomed me to still come to property and have a wait in the garden area. She made us feel right at home. She brought as some coffee and rusks☕. She made sure we were fine all the time whenever she saw us. I loved every bit of it. And I will deffs stay there again and again!!!!!

I loved everything. There nothing bad I can say about this place.

The owners are very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. I was stuck without accommodation as the place I originally booked was disgusting. I was fortunate to find MyKhaya and they accepted my reservation on VERY SHORT notice! I will definitely book with MyKhaya next time I am in Johannesburg. Location was nearby the venue I attended and close to family for visits.

Place is located near airport - good starting point to trips or one night stays between flights. Very clean, hosts are super friendly. Rooms are stylish. Good value for money, recommend.

Aroma cells with strong smell, have to move it outside the rooms - after that all was fine) Separate water taps - stylish, but unpractical.

A wonderful stop over. MyKhaya has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The accommodation is extremely affordable and Andrea makes sure that you have everything at your disposal. Loved the special little touches that made it feel like home.

Everything was just perfect.

I love how friendly the staff are, how clean and tidy the room was. I love the personal touch of having breakfast brought to your room at a time that suits you. I love that you can bring your own cold drink and store it in the fridge. I love that we could watch Netflix or Youtube, you don't get that often.

The mini fridge was a bit noisy but nothing intolerable. It only bothered a little bit at night when you want to sleep but it is not the end of the world.

We liked the location and the overall hospitality shown toward us. It was a pleasure to be hosted by the owners and they even accommodated us with a larger room because we had so much luggage.

It was quite cold, even with the heater that was provided. The first day we arrived, the hot water was gone but by the next day, the hot water was working again and the shower was quite refreshing considering how cold it was.

The owner was amiable and welcoming. I had to check out early and there were means without disturbing anyone's sleep. The location is perfect, a very peaceful area. the wifi was fast and the room was exactly what I wanted,

There were no bath towels in the bathroom. I reckon that was just an honest mistake from housekeeping.

Andrea is an amazing person, very friendly and inviting. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very neat!! Everything we needed for our stay for the weekend since we traveled for business. Needed nothing more. And for people from farm & small communities, we didn't even realize we were in the city!! So peaceful - Loved it!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us.
