We LOVED the old house! It had the smell and the feel that we loved in the house.

We laughed that the mirror over the sink was too high to see but appreciated the full length mirror beside it even though it wasn’t clean it was helpful. The ceiling fan didn’t work

Amazing. Jaw dropped when we walked in! Bed was so comfortable! Host was personable, friendly and attentive. Highly, highly recommended!!!

Needed tissues. They seemed to have thought of EVERYTHING else! We just seem to be allergic to Texas!

Was a nice place to stay loved the antique furniture and was in walking distance to train station and close to places to eat and shop. Would stay again and recommend it to anyone who likes the old time bed and breakfast type place to stay instead of a hotel.

There wasn't anything I didn't like really just wished there had been a taxi service or something to go to train station but it was only 3 blocks away wasn't that bad of a walk and they said if they would of been in town they would of drove me themselves I am 54and disabled I use a cane to walk but I took my time and made it without problem.

Comfortable room with microwave, fridge and eating utensils. Loved the rocking chairs on porch and the ceiling fans outside.

Water in shower smelled like rotten eggs just horrible!

The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood. It is a quaint little suite with lots of atmosphere. The spa tub was great, if smaller than expected. We had everything we needed for our honeymoon get away.

The only thing I would change was if they had an outdoor grill available to enjoy while sitting on the porch in the peace and quiet. And a more comfy couch to sit on to watch TV, its a little hard to snuggle on the beautiful settee in the room.

This is such a thoughtfully decorated Bed and Bath. It was filled with unique antiques and reminded me of my grandmother's beautiful home. It was much more than I expected. There was a wrap around porch with rocking chairs and a beautiful tree in full bloom in the yard. I entered the charming suite into a beautifully appointed parlor. It had a flat screen tv and a gorgeous desk with a lot of information on local restaurants and things to do in the area. Next I entered the bedroom. It was beautifully furnished with an antique metal bed with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. It was spacious and had a closet with plenty of hangers. A coffee bar was stocked with everything to get going on the morning. Hanging on the wall was a cowboy hat and duster, which was waiting for me to try on for photos. It looked like it was right out of the show Yellowstone. Lastly was the bathroom with original sink and a jacuzzi tub. It was filled with an assortment of thoughtfully chosen luxuries. The location was in an older part of town with a beautiful mansion across the street. It felt safe and walkable to the cute shops downtown. I will be returning soon and will book again.

Quaint home in a beautiful old neighborhood. Very spacious with a separate sitting room and the bathroom had a jetted tub. Truly a gem in a small Texas town.

My stay exceeded my expectations. The bed-and-breakfast was warm and inviting, and I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the caretakers.
