We enjoyed the spa the most, the pool temperature was perfect, hot tub outside is very romantic, sauna area well equipped. The breakfast was exceptional, selection wide (including tasty tea) and we absolutely loved the pancakes! We also appreciated the soft towels and comfy blankets in our room. Everything was clean and nice. :)

These are just details. It would be great if there were some instructions on how to use the sauna, because some guests had no idea (wearing swimwear inside, not showering, not laying on towel ect.). Also coffee served at the bar wasn't that good compared to the amazing food, it would be worth investing in some barista courses for the staff as well as a good machine and some quality beans. We would prefer to be free to choose our table in the dining area.

I liked the location, the proximity of the lake and the port and I also enjoyed the wellness area. The GM was super nice and approachable, she was keen to satisfy guests.

I believe the majority of the guests are Germans hence staff may not use their English skills very often, it wasn’t a problem but in some cases at the restaurants we had to use Google translate or they sent another waiter. Also I believe it was due the language we didn’t receive all the information at the reception at our arrival, we fir example didn’t know that one has to reserve a table at the restaurants hence we didn’t have a place at our first evening in the restaurant we wanted.

Lovely place at the very edge of the lake. Two restaurants, both good, tasty food for breakfast as well. Saunas / spa area a bit overcrowded, especially during winter weekends. Friendly service. Not much to do locally (except boats, if in summer), but with a car lots of locations are reachable.

Only one charger for e-autos, and the spot can even be taken by a non-electric car. The reception helps with finding the owner, but they can be away, or there could be several e-autos waiting, so don't count on having the charger available.

The food was amazing. Perfect meals everytime we ate there The sauna was great too It was a very nice and pleasant hotel, having a balcony is great, the breakfasts was included and very filling. I can recommend the hotel, it also feels very traditionally German which is nice.

I found it odd that on a Saturday night with a cut finger the reception couldn’t provide a Band-Aid and said they had no first aid kit. As you know in Germany, everything is closed from sat afternoon to Monday morning so I couldn’t even go somewhere to buy bandaids. I would have even repaid them the Band-Aid when I got some in a shop on Monday, but they said they couldn’t give me one. As we had booked a ten day stay I thought we might have got preference for a lakeside room, but we were not lucky in that respect.

Breakfast offered a great selection in a traditional German environment. The room was a good size and had a balcony big enough to sit on and you could see the lake. It had 2 great restaurants and a bar with a great atmosphere. Just out of the town, but great location to get to the ferry to Herren Chiemsee. Parking at the hotel was available and easy which is great after a long journey. The pool and jacuzzi were great facilities to have to relax and unwind.

When we hired the electric bikes it would have been good to have received a few instructions on how they worked before we left which reception had advised when we booked them , but not available on the day.

We liked the location, it’s right on the lake side and it’s possible to swim in the lake as well so that’s the plus point and staff was really good

I’m not sure why but the situation is horrible with the mosquitoes. They are big fat and bite like a crocodile. And they were torturing us and spoiled our plan to sit outside. Obviously we wanted to sit near the lake and enjoy the view while having beer but couldn’t happen due to mosquitoes. In fact we went inside during our breakfast as well

The staff was absolutely amazing, the food in the restaurant is great! Absolutely recommended.

There is only a bottle of water in the minibar and to get anything, you have to go to the bar, and they cannot offer anything in a bottle. Not sure why the minibar is such a problem recently in the hotels, but it was a disappointment compared to everything else in the hotel.

Nice pool and Finnish sauna, good breakfast, delicious dinner, nice service, OK room.

I was expecting lake view and mountain view, but the room view was towards another building and parking lot. Maybe I misunderstood the promise when making the reservation, but at least I was expecting more since the room view is important for me. The gym was quite small, no windows, no water.

Direct access on to lake was amazing. Stunning. Well kept and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Read reviews before coming and as a result decided to change to a lake view room rather than car park view for extra 30 euros. Worth it. It was modern and clean. It was quite warm, we asked for a fan at reception. No aircon. Breakfast v good

Would have been nice to have kettle / tea / coffee in room Food in restaurant was fine, but felt expensive and overpriced. As did the bar. Expensive G&T and tonic was out of a big Schwepps bottle... 3 euros for the tonic felt a bit of a p*ss take. Beer priced OK.

This resort is a perfect place to relax, to swim and take sun baths, to eat great food. The stuff is exceptional, very professional. I was staying for 3 nights, I could definitely to spend one more day there. The room was very spacious, perfect clean, and very cozy.
