I loved the location. The staff were pleasant, and their was a restaurant downstairs. We came home from a game, and we were exhausted, and we were able to just go downstairs and eat with reasonable prices and good food. Grocery is nearby, also.

The furniture was a little dusty. I am allergic to dust and pollen, so I kept sneezing in the room. Couldn't sleep through the night until I covered my head.The room felt very dark, but we opened the window curtains. Needs an indoor pool. Or covering for the pool area. So the kids can still swim when it rains. It rained the entire time we were there, and we had to stay in our room

The staff was welcoming, helpful and courteous, especially, Chad. The location of the hotel was not in the part of Lancaster that I thought it would be in (my fault) but Chad was very helpful in giving us our bearings and pointing out different sites we could visit in the western part of Lancaster. We ended up driving more than we expected (to the Amish communities) and surrounding towns of interest.

We first entered the hotel in the lower (ballroom?)entrance which was dark and deserted and eerie . We were directed to the front entrance which doesn't have great appeal. Again, the overall feel was dark, dated and deserted. We changed our two-night reservation to one. The room, while in need of a bright update, was very clean and comfortable. After we did get our bearings and familiarity with the area we decided to stay the second night after all. It was the attitude and helpfulness of the staff that helped us make that decision.

Loved the extra amenities, like shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, coffee, hair dryer. Great room size, comfortable bed and chairs. Laundry bags, ironing board and iron were a plus too. Great size and amount of towels. Bonus was the restaurant bar attached to the hotel.

Offer small bottle of water for at least 1 cup or coffee. Pen and paper not needed. A towel bar would be nice for hand towel.

I found this hotel through Booking.com, so was not sure what to expect, especially since the rate was so reasonable. We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel, staff and facilities. Also a bonus to have the restaurant and bar attached, which was also a very nice, laid back atmosphere.

The only thing that was more of a small annoyance than a dislike, was that it is very close to a busy highway so we heard the traffic in the background. But it soon became background noise.

I liked the structure it was very nice the rooms were comfy and clean and the staff was very nice.

I didn’t like how hogged the pool was it was a lot of people and they would always give us bad looks and laugh at us since we are Hispanic and it was mostly white people but this isn’t a problem with the hotel because the hotel was great but if you are planning to come here as a Hispanic or black, etc prepare yourself for racism and all over the area as well

A great location, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, easy parking, free breakfast, proximity to restaurant. We needed 2 rooms for our family and the hotel easily accommodated our request for adjacent rooms. Good value given the price relative to other nearby hotels.

Decor was fine but outdated-- like stepping back in time. Breakfast buffet had adequate options but was just ok.

The hotel is charming. It is an older large hotel that has been maintained well. The room was very comfortable and the cost was reasonable. It was quiet even on the main level with two floors above us. The breakfast buffet was good. They had fresh fruit that was a wonderful treat. Getting to the hotel was a little tricky due to construction and the hotel signage being small and not lit well.

The bedding and pillows were the most comfortable than we ever have experienced before. Usually it is difficult for us to sleep in hotel beds and we were pleasantly surprised at the comfort we experienced. We will never book a different hotel stay when we come visit our college student who attends PCAD in center city Lancaster.

This was our second summer spending a weekend at the Heritage Hotel Lancaster, and we can’t wait to return again next summer. The staff is so friendly, the Loxley next door was perfect spot for dinner each evening, and we were a short drive from shops and other attractions. Highly recommend!

I loved how unique and charming the decor was. So glad it did NOT have a modern cold vibe to it. I also loved how the decor was an acknowledgment to the character of the surrounding areas imbedded with beautiful vintage art, natural materials, and neutral tones. I was in heaven the moment I walked in!
