The front desk clerk dayshift Latasaha was amazing .. she was very professional and has wonderful customer service. We was there for the loss of my husbands mother and she gave us so much warmth .. we also had a maintenice issue with the smell of the sink water .. which had a sewage ,smell , we reported this to front desk Latasha who immediately took charge and had the maintenance man come who took care of the issue .. front desk clerk Latasha gave us the Doubletree experience and provided us with what ever ways available to show the company ways of gratitude for our issue . Also the front desk clerk that was there after 4pm was amazing as well . This was our first time staying and it is now our to go hotel when we travel .

Hilton is always nice

There were two ways to get to my room. The first way was straight from the lobby across the pool area to where my room was. I was told I could not take the luggage carrier that way past the pool. If I wanted to use the luggage carrier I would have to take the second route to my room which was going out the front door and all the way around two buildings to get to the back entrance. Needless to say, I did not want to walk that far as it was quite a distance. I had four rather large suitcases. I was traveling for the military going to a permanent duty station which is why I had four pieces of luggage. Dragging four large pieces of luggage that distance was not something I enjoyed.

We enjoyed the Customer Service experience we received from Latoya King. She was very informative told where to get great soul food and noted that you also had a dining area onsite. We which we did have dinner. Jeanne who waited on us at dinner was very nice and courteous. We had a great time at dinner sitting outside overlooking the water-view. Great experience all around. Please make sure Latoya’s supervisor Katie Vandersluis gets our message regarding her professionalism as well as Jeanne’s supervisor. We will be back!

We considered using your service to take us off property, but he said it had to be within a three miles radius. I don’t really think there’s anything close that you can go to to use the service. Maybe next time.

The staff was very kind and patient with us while we navigated through some check in issues. Latoya (supervisor) and Keisha (Doubletree -AIRPORT) made our anniversary trip even more special by accommodating our reservation issues. I can't thank them enough.

It was unfortunate that Booking did not relay our booki.g changes including rates so it made for a troublesome check -in experience.

Breakfast buffet is $21/person but there isn’t pancakes/waffles available at the buffet. It was freezing cold in the lobby & restaurant.

Location, location, location. Well situated if you’re flying out of JAX. The restaurant serves fantastic food and the wait staff are incredibly friendly and outgoing. Can’t say enough about the food and staff.

Unfortunately, for a Hilton property, this hotel remains incredibly aged. The rooms look tired, there doesn’t appear to be any attention to detail or appearance. Whether it’s the toilet paper holder loosely attached to the wall, curtains that don’t full close, dirty balconies, or unattached lamp shades, the rooms give the appearance of minimal upkeep and maintenance.

My aunt loves this chain, and wanted the points for the stay. There was a firepit.

Getting a cookie did not make up for the long line at check-in. Only having one, albeit friendly, person working the desk was imprudent. The restaurant had the same problem. One server for the entire place. She was lovely, but it took forever to get food and drinks. Not a fan of the bomb shelter windows in my room. If I was in a wheelchair, I might not have seen anything at all.

The facts that they have signs up advertising Starbucks coffee only to find out that they don’t the door to enter the building were staying in did not lock so anybody could walk in the building no key required and no microwaves in the rooms and housekeeping only replaced the towels they didn’t clean the room at all didn’t empty the trash cans nothing just the towels there wasn’t even trash bags for us to take out the trash ourselves

The location was perfect it was just outside of the airport without having to go into the airport traffic. I especially loved the fire pit and pool area. This hotel does have a restaurant on premises. Tranika and Johnathan at the front desk took great care of me and made me feel very welcomed.

The Starbucks cafe wasn't opened or available. I also had a little bit of trouble with my key card which made me have to walk around to the front of the building when I parked next to a door that would have put me right at my room however Johnathan corrected it and I didn't have any other issues .

I did not have breakfast

I could not log into the Internet in my room and had to go down to reception where the problem was dealt with. My room number was 526 but for some reason when I entered this it was not accepted, other than this my stay was excellent and I would recommend this hotel.
