The property was beyond expectations. I actually thought it would be just 1 building and was surprised to see the huge facility. I loved the customer service. The staff are very warm and always willing to help. The check-in was smooth and price was exactly same as what is on Bookings. Amazingly, their exchange rate was very good. Even better than what we got in town. Incase you want to change to the Rwanda Franc currency from Dollars, they can help. The apartment are very clean and well equipped. We didn’t cook so I can’t say much about the kitchen facilities but the fridge and microwave were very useful. The breakfast was very good too and it’s buffet. However, it ends at 9:30am so it’s advised to go early. They were even nice enough to give one of my flat mates a take away pack when she couldn’t finish her food. Not all hotels allow this for buffet. I totally enjoyed my short stay. Thank you Phoenix

The hike to the apartment from the reception, pool or restaurant was not something we looked forward to but well, it’s Rwanda, the land of a Thousand hills so everywhere is averagely hilly. There should be a phone in at least one of the rooms in case one wants to call the reception or the restaurant. Though they gave us the phone numbers to call but we will have to use our phone. Not everyone buys the local sim so they should consider this option.

The proximity to the airport is great. The staff were overall lovely. The bed and bed linen were perfect. The room furniture was great too.

-The kitchenette was not stocked aside from basic hotel room stuff (and a stovetop and microwave) which was a disappointment considering it was a self catering apartment. I was later informed at checkout that I had to request for anything I wanted in that regard. It would be best to include this when advertising and at least at check-in. -There were cockroaches in the bathroom and the kitchenette. I informed reception at checkout of all this, hopefully the issues will be tackled.

Good breakfast every morning 6 AM- 10 AM, menu is Chinese with limited selection of breads and very nice fresh juices. Rooms have a good view and are very spacious. Overlooking the Nyandungu ecopark where you can take morning and evening walks.

Only issue is location is on the main highway so its quite noisy with trucks and vehicles blowing horns through the night. The downside is there is no restaurants nearby to eat at or order food from except the Chinese restaurant and the Sundowner. The sundowner restaurant downstairs is convenient but they charge a lot for room delivery, and more over I found a huge insect wing in my coffee and they kept me waiting for 4 hours before replacing my coffee.

Everything. Service was awesome. There was ready made vehicle to navigate me. Hotel experience was awesome. Due to time difference I miscalculated my arrival by 1 hour and then I arrived earlier than scheduled but the hotel sent vehicle as soon as I arrived and I didn’t need to wait too long. Customer care both online and offline is great too. Speed response

I missed breakfast the next day and I had to pay a discount fee for the meal as it wasn’t reserved. Also breakfast is not in the room. Asides that breakfast is too awesome and satisfying.

Staff are lovely, facilities are nice, restaurants are great (the bar in the bottom carpark was our favourite) and there is also a handy little supermarket for drinks and snacks. We rented a 3 bedroom apartment and it was nice to have space, kitchen and our own washing machine.

The pool was under maintenance so not useable but it really had no impact on our stay.

The room was great & the availability of a washing machine to use after coming back from a 7 day safari was wonderful.!

The food at the restaurant was always cold. I don't think burners were lit under the closhes to keep food warm. Also the fried eggs were like leather. Stick to omelettes. I couldn't access Mastercard payment whichcaused me angst but the staff were very good & allowed part payment until the problem could be sorted.

Great facilities, amazing stuff and super cool studio. Literally a home away from home

Check out time, if you want an airport shuttle from the property after 12 they will charge you for half day stay, despite stating that late check out is allowed. Anyway overall stay is really nice and exceeded my expectations and extended my stay
