Our two-day stay at Hotel Zu Sonne was fantastic. First of all, Marissa is an outstanding host who organized everything according to the agreement. The rooms were clean, and the payment and invoice process went smoothly. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh items, and Marissa was always there to prepare coffee, juice, or tea – you can really tell she works with love. The apartments are much larger than standard hotel rooms; they are actually small apartments, making the stay even more comfortable. The parking is conveniently located right in front of the property, and the hotel is situated in the small town of Rimsting, where everything is close by and easily accessible. All in all, a great experience, highly recommended!

We were travelling back from Southern Italy and decided to drive through the Dolomites and the location was in a sensible distance from Proseccoland to break our journey. Unfortunately we did not have time to explore the area. The car parking was good and off the road unlike other stays where it is advertised as free parking but that free parking is on the road outside!!! The breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable. And even though we had just come back from from 2 months in Italy we went down the road to an Italian restaurant with good food and one of the best Italian wine lists that we have seen.

The stairs, as our room was on the second floor. with no lift. Otherwise there was nothing to dislike.

Breakfast is really amazing. The owners of hotel are so kind, they helped us for every question. The rooms are perfectly clean. There is a view of a mountain from room, which is also really perfect for me. I feel like i am in my home.

The beds would be little bit more comfortable.

For someone who wants to spend time around the Chiemsee, especially Priem, the location is excellent. You are five minutes by car from the ferries that sail to the islands. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast room and breakfast were great. The staff were professional and made one feel very welcome.

The parking could get a little full. There is an "overflow" parking at the house nextdoor but I suspect in the "high season" there might be problems.

Host is very accommodating and friendly. She attended to us, showed us to our rooms and facilities even though we arrived late at night. She is so welcoming. Their breakfast was spectacular! Lots of choices and basically custom made to your liking. Exceptionally! Totally enjoyed my stay!

The owner was ver friendly and helpful with tips on what to do in the area. Very nice and personal, family owned hotel. Exceptional breakfast prepared with a lot of love and very attentive service. Will come again.

Great breakfast with so much variety, large room with balcony and super view to the mountains, really kind staff, festive decor. We only stopped in for a night, but would definitely come back!

It was perfect. The room was very comfortable, very friendly hosts, excellent breakfast and good location. If I’m in the area would like to come again. Can only recommend this place.

The breakfast is out of this world! Beds are comfortable, though on the harder side, shower is great. Breakfast was the best I had in years. staff is very friendly and hospitable. And did I mention the breakfast? really, the breakfast is why you need to stay here.

you can find all sorts of things that can be better (think 5-star property), but for this price, there really isn’t anything.
