As soon as we drove up we were pleased with the hotel - great looking exterior, well isolated despite being next to the highway, with good sound buffering. The room was excellent and there was easy access (we were traveling with a dog so getting in and out from the side doors was great). The breakfast area is very small and tight with just a few people, but the quality and selection was excellent. We were just staying for a single night in the middle of a long trip, but this hotel was comfortable and made that single overnight excellent.

Swapping out the individual bottles of shampoo/conditioner/soap - too much waste!

Convenient, quiet location, yet close to restaurants, shops, cinema, etc. The hotel is located on a quiet business street with a nice sidewalk where you can walk your dog(s). Be sure to bring your doggie bags and courteously pick up after your fur baby. I wasn't able to try out the breakfast because I had to leave so early both mornings I was there, but I was happy to find coffee available 24/7. I was absolutely delighted to find a pot of soup available for the guests in the lobby. After traveling in the snow, I didn't want to venture back out for dinner, so I was grateful for the delicious hot meal.

There was no mud mat in the room. I tried to get as much snow off my boots as I could but still ended up with a fair amount of water on the floor from the snow trapped in the treads. I appreciate the hardwood floors, but I'd hate to see them get warped.

This hotel offered one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in many hotels in the surrounding area. Large room with a king bed, chairs, desk, mini-fridge, microwave, two sinks, coffeemaker, and no carpet! The staff was very accommodating. There was coffee , tea, and soup available in the lobby at all times. We enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning before check-out. There was a beautiful, cozy sitting area in the lobby.

There was not one thing that we didn't like.

Breakfast was really good excellent. The bed was comfy but I was put in a non renovated part.I thought I would of had the room I paid for on the web s I re but never g o t that room but still was happy they came out with a wheel chair to help me get to my room after I had surgery. Only thing I was upset with the night clerk she couldn't get me a extra pillow I was so in pain couldn't sleep till 5am.i was upset with her. I've never had this issue with any other hotels. That upsetted me a lot Shame on her.

I just had surgery 2 days prior. I called the front desk to get a extra pillow.She responded t o me saying sorry we don't have extra pillows wow are u kidding me.Well I couldn't sleep till 5am I was so in pain. It kept me up till 5am I was so upset with that gurl. A hotel like this that doesn't have extra pillows w o w that's not right. Then had to get ice on 1st floor because they had no ice machines on second floor. Most of a 'll I was upset with that front desk girl. Check out that colored lady hardly talked didn't ask how my stay was or anything.

We were so cold while checking in late. It was great to be welcomed with hot lobster bisque soup. We were surprised finding two sinks in our room - one in the bathroom which is expected and another one near the "coffee corner" with the refrigerator and the microwave.

There was nothing not to like.

the bed was the most comfortable bed my friend and i have ever slept on. the rooms / building was beautiful and the staff was very kind. there was free ice cream, bagels, coffee, etc. the only downside was the power strip to the mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave cut out in our room while we were staying there. other than that it was a delightful stay

The location is perfect as its close to the University of Maine.

I was not thrilled that the washer and dryers were removed. We relied on this service the last time as my son needed some clothes washed prior to moving into his dorms. To our surprise they were removed. It would be nice to have those back,

Breakfast was very good and plenty full and I like the idea that at night they had something in the crockpot, whether it be the chicken chili, the chicken and dumplings that was a nice touch

The only thing I would say is nobody was mean at the desk, but other than in the morning, the rest were kind of just plateau no personality

I’ve stayed several times nice hotel. Staff is always super friendly and helpful

Only complaint I would have is it very loud between floors people above us were very loud. But luckily I can sleep through anything. 😁

Location was great -toured University of Maine Breakfast was mediocre Price for the room was too expensive! We stayed at the Best western for only $100. As night with a fantastic breakfast!
