We had the basic standard room. Very compact, but all we needed for one night. Loved the very comfortable bed and the well-equipped bathroom with good shower, heated floor and storage space. There was space for our toiletries too. Good sized mugs, nice tea and kettle in the room. Appreciated the free coffee in reception. The staff were friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was quiet and effective (we needed this as it was far too noisy to sleep with windows open) and the blackout curtains were the best we had on our trip.

Breakfast is provided in Egon, a restaurant attached to the hotel. The breakfast was ok, but the dinner we had there was very disappointing. Processed food, which was poorly cooked.

The breakfast was amazing! The restaurant was lovely, so interesting with the different levels and view of the mill stream. Food and service were excellent and good value. We had a very nice room, with windows that open (nice because these were the first warm days of the year). The staff was so friendly and helpful, they couldn't have been better! We enjoyed every aspect of this unique, historic hotel - the excellent location, access to parking, the on-site restaurant, the lovely and comfortable room, great bathroom, everything.

Great location and wonderful staff. The rooms are small, befitting their status as renovated grain mill chambers. Very nice rooms with heated bathroom floors. The breakfast is a buffet located in the neighboring restaurant (access direct from the hotel). The top floor has a birds eye view bar, great for an afternoon cocktail.

I was actually too warm (traveled in February)! The duvet was too good. I actually took the cover off and just used it. I was impressed that housekeeping made the bed up that way for me on the second night.

This is a beautiful little hotel which was once a mill. It's located minutes from the station and the town centre with a little stream running along the outside areas. Egon restaurant was adjacent... very tasty food - and the Toppen Bar on 9th floor has a magnificent view. Bed was soooo cosy and comfortable and toiletries provided were of good quality. Very reasonably priced and staff were wonderful, each and every one!

My window creaked... that's it! Hardly an issue 😂😂

The room was very comfortable with room for 3 chairs & a small desk (upgraded to the larger room for 2). The room was well appointed & many little extras, including coffee in the room as well as in the lobby. Linens, furniture, towels, shower, etc. were of quality, Included breakfast provided for most tastes & was very good. The staff was helpful & friendly. Offer of taking items (meat, cheese, bread, etc.) from the breakfast bar for a light lunch for a small fee (about $10 USD each person)

Parking was not included, but a lot was available right next to & across from the hotel. Stayed on a Monday night & the rooftop bar was closed.

Reception staff were very friendly and room comfortable and very clean.

Breakfast was only very average for a Norwegian Hotel which was a little disappointing. Food offerings were not particularly generous and very slow in being replenished which didn’t seem to bother the staff too much. The lady on duty one morning seemed quite harassed and unsmiling, hope she had a better day later.

I have stayed at a few hotels with a child and have to say to say this was the best so far! Walking distance to transportation, restaurants next door and nearby, great playgrounds, shopping, and best of all the river and mountain scenery. Exceedingly relaxing!! Super comfortable bed and natural white noise. Liked the breakfast buffet and thought the new bathroom was nice, good water pressure. The view from the Toppen sky bar was lovely too at sunset.

Really homely atmosphere, well designed with access to great Egon restaurant in the old mill next door. The skybar was fun with views towards the ‘94 Winter Olympics ski jump and surrounding hills, worth a look from the top too! Staff were very friendly and facilities good.

Only downside central LED light fitting in bedroom seemed to glow in the dark during night;

We were delighted with the hotel. We arrived in Lillehammer early as we'd caught the night train and we were able to check in. This was much appreciated as we had had very little sleep and the weather was awful. The room was very comfortable and there were tea and coffee available. The bathroom was a good size and had everything you need including lovely toiletries. A very friendly member of staff in the roof top bar (amazing views). Breakfast was delicious.

The hotel was lovely, well equipped room. Fan, steamer, coffee machine, good blackout curtains underfloor heating in the bathroom! Bed was very comfy! Great location 2 mins from the train station and main street. Breakfast was great a wide selection of food. A great find and would definitely recommend and would love to return
