Breakfast was excellent except on one morning the croissants were obviously undercooked (opaque) I complained to the gentleman at reception who dismissed my complaint saying they were fine. I thought he just couldn't be bothered. Apart from this man's attitude the breakfast and staff were excellent. For one or two nights the small room would be fine. We stayed for five nights and with hindsight a larger room would have been better. However, we will continue to stay overnight for future travelling.

Lovely warm welcome at reception and offered different floors which was a nice touch. My room was small but perfectly formed and provided everything I needed for my one night stay. Bathroom was very clean with nice liquid washes to use. Extra touches included bottled water, kettle and tea and coffee making facilities and sweeties :) Bed and pillows were great and I had a good night's sleep. Thank you for providing a good experience.

Booked 3 twin rooms at this hotel as a single overnight stay after getting off the ferry, before heading off on a motorcycle tour of Normandy. Twin room was on the small side but beds were comfortable, staff were really helpful, and facilities were fine for a single night option. Breakfast was filling, with a cooked and continental option. Parking was free and gated.

An additional shelf or two and coat hooks would be helpful.

Breakfast was excellent eat as much as you like. And the crossiants were delicious. Also bed in room was very comfortable. Toilet seat was broken but we managed. Hot water was ample in the shower.

Ordering a cab from hotel was dreadful - receptionist had to keep asking when taxi would arrive - eventually cam 45 minutes after booking. We could have missed the ferry home - unacceptable. Best for foot passengers to book hotel in centre of town.

It was great for a one night stopover before the ferry. We swam in the pool on the afternoon we arrived. Excellent breakfast. First scrambled eggs and bacon in 2 weeks. Lots of other great buffet options

The room and bathroom was very small. Ideal for a night but not much longer. But this was everything we needed for a good budget stopover.

Lovely staff, were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable, kettle and tea/coffee available in room. Also 2 bottles of water and a few sweets. Nice touch.

Sadly not suitable for a wheelchair user, although they did try to help us sort it out very well. No room for wheelchair so had to leave it outside in corridor. Shower room was very dangerous, with very slippery floor and extremely small for big people.

The interconnected rooms were perfect for us. Comfy enough. Would absolutely stay again. Aldi right next door is a decent bonus. 5 mins from port and easy to drive too as a first time driver in France (UK)

Location and food options are poor. If I was here for more than a day or two I’d be disappointed

Room was very clean although a little small. Bed was large and comfortable. Good facilities compared to similar properties in the area who don’t offer tea/coffee in the room. Ideal for overnight stay for the ferry and in a good, quiet location.

Great location , 10 minutes from ferry port with shops and supermarkets within a short walk - staff were very helpful and was ideal for a stopover . Room was small but lovely and warm and had all the facilities needed . Nice and hot shower . We will definitely stay again ,really good value for money . We have stayed in many budget hotels in France and for the price this was one of the best

Pillows were hard for us but everything else was perfect

Good well lit parking, bottle of water and tea/coffee facilities in room. Pleasant staff very helpful. Rooms compact but had everything we needed after our ferry crossing. Breakfast buffet style cold cuts, cheese,cereal and fruit etc. Good value for money and safe parking.

Only 2 milk sachets and one of them was partially open. Reception is closed from 10pm so couldn't get more. Older building so no usb sockets in the room so don't forget your charger plug!
