I had a truly wonderful stay at Hard Rock Hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, and their hospitality was exceptional. I was especially impressed when they helped locate an item I had accidentally left behind. Not only did they find it quickly, but they also arranged to have it shipped back to me, which I deeply appreciate.

The taste and portion size of the food at Hard Rock Café could be improved further.

Went with the kids and they loved it so much. There were soo many activities and facilities available (importantly it’s free) in the hotel that the kids loving it until they didn’t even leave the hotel during our stayed! The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. We had previously stayed at Hard Rock Penang before and felt the breakfast wasn’t that great, but this time it was wayy better especially the malay dish. Thumbs up for that! The housekeepers and hotel staff was so helpful and understanding. We asked the housekeepers to vacuum our room at night (after havoc dinner in our room) and the housekeepers came immediately after our call and vacuum the whole room. Overall it was a wonderful time, we are happy because the kids are happy. They even felt quite low and sad when we checked out. Will definitely come back and can’t wait to be greeted by great hospitality! Keep up the good work Hard Rock Penang!

Our recent stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Penang was nothing short of exceptional. It's the best hotel that we've stayed in at Penang. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. Every team member we encountered, from the reception to the restaurant and poolside crew, was helpful, cheerful and eager to assist. The standout feature of the hotel is without a doubt the amazing pool. It’s one of the best we've ever experienced. It's perfect for both kids and adults. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable, with rock-inspired décor that added a fun and stylish touch. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was vibrant and energetic, yet relaxed: exactly the kind of balance we were looking for. Whether you're traveling as a couple, with friends, or as a family, Hard Rock Hotel Penang delivers in every way. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, luxurious and truly memorable beachside getaway.

Really enjoyed my stay with the family. The hotel was a really fun place with an amazing location with access to the beach and sea. The breakfast at the Rock royalty lounge was really special, and also really enjoyed all the music being played and the dancing by the hotel staff specially the performance on the hotel birthday we were privileged to witness. The room maintenance was really good, so the housekeeping were really doing a good job. The pool area was a lot fun for the kids and lifeguards were really doing a good job keeping a watch and monitoring the users. Would say big thank you to Andy, Mozid and Alisha who really made us feel very special!!

Have in mind that kids suite are not 2 separate rooms, but 1 divided into 2.sections.

5th floor room was extremely noisy. I have never been to a noisier room. Ventilation system was so loud that we could not sleep at all. The second day I asked to be moved to another room so they moved us to 4th floor which was better but not ideal. I strongly suggest you book at lower floor, because the upper you go the noisier it is. This constant noise was unbearable. Kids animation can be improved. Girls are great and very attentive just the program can be enriched so that there are different happenings daily

The property is located right on the beach and only a short walk to the shops in the town. It is also near the night market. The hotel itself is bright, and open with lots of facilities - pool bar, swim up bar and different restaurants to try. Staff are all so friendly and really want your stay to be amazing. Staff regularly approached to see how you were doing or to chat - it felt like personal interactions. Some staff got to recognise what I wanted and even before I asked were getting my drinks ready. It was also so relaxing - beautiful huge pool which has a busy kids area but you can also be at quiet areas for total relaxation. There was entertainment most evenings.

The only negative comment t is that some of the entertainment listed did not happen as advertised e.g there was supposed to be a live band each evening until midnight but they actually finished by 10pm most evenings. The bars also closed either by 10 or 11pm. The Hard Rock Cafe is located just outside the main entrance and which is part of the hotel complex stayed open later and had live music til late but if you just wanted to sip a glass of wine in the lobby or outside these were all closed early.

Overall, I absolutely loved the pool area, and my kids had a fantastic time there! We rented a cabana and a float, which I think is a wonderful offering by the hotel. The cabana rental was worth every cent, and the complimentary fruits were a nice touch. We were also pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to the Seaview Deluxe room, which was a lovely bonus. The staff were all incredibly friendly and approachable, from those cleaning the beach to the pool attendants, and the breakfast team. Everyone we interacted with made us feel welcome. The overall vibe at Hard Rock Penang is just amazing. Keep up the great work!

The breakfast was just average. I feel that the management could improve by adding more variety and options to the spread. While the food tasted okay, it didn’t quite meet my expectations for a hotel of Hard Rock’s standard. Perhaps because we checked in on a weekday, the selection wasn’t as extensive. Still, the quality of the food itself was good.

We had an awesome stay at this hotel. It took some getting used to because the music is loud and it’s busier than the places we normally go to but we had such a good time. The staff was so very friendly and the pool was just amazing! The kids club did their best to give the kids a fun day and if you wanted something else than the restaurants they offer, we suggest you go to Enca (right across the street). It’s easy to get a grab to George Town and you should really go and see the butterflies and other animals at the butterfly exhibition. Our kids still talk about the pool, they loved it 100%!

Breakfast was good but it was very crowded. Also we had no idea it was recommended not to swim in the sea because there it potentially dangerous jellyfish swimming around! The pool sure makes up for that though. The food was a bit expensive (especially the drinks) but the quality was great!

A nice tropical Hard Rock, as one exepects it. Clean, modern, stylish and nice pools. Very kind staff. Pizza in the pool restaurant, they have a genuine fire pizza oven. Cool slides for the kids, animations.

The sea is a disaster. If you like the sea, snorkeling, sea waves, avoid this place. Due to the pollution, the sea is full of sediment mud, like a underwater swamp, the sea doesnt even have waves much. Yes beach is nice, but the sea is not - I assume in the whole area, not only here. Also, Roxy Kids Suite is not worth it. Worse rooms with views onto the parking or roofs, with no balcony, are only divided by wall, kids have sun and windows, parents sleep like in a dungeon. But they happily changed our room to a sunny one. Go for the seaview. Prices of meals and drinks are much higher than on the street, but that's usual in such hotels.

Very nice and easy access hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food are great and the pool are super, especially for kids. My kids love it so much. They had alot of fun and the beach are very close by. Definitely will come again.
